This is the third light we have ordered. Easy to install, works great and gives a lot of light. Very Pleased.

Used as a yard light in a residential setting. This light is beautifully made, but I should have paid more attention to its description as a "barn" light. It is VERY BRIGHT for residential application. It would be wonderful if this lamp came with a choice of lighting heads (some with less LEDs) or if a filter was available to place over the light element. I made my own filter because it was just was too bright for residential application. I noticed other reviews for this item mentioned this problem.

Great light for our back door. We couldn’t see our black dog when he came to the door and we needed a bright light. This does have the dusk to dawn feature with the option to turn it off and on.

Lights up really well. Easy to install. Love the disk till dawn feature.

I sidnt think she would EVER drop by. After installing this light she stopped over alright! She started throwing phrases around like " that lights up my whole bedroom" to which I replied I KNOW! She was all " do you have to have it on at night?" And I said " well. Yea. Its a light dummy." WORKS GREAT!

A great pool of light! Adjusts enough that it’s directed where needed. We disabled the motion detector so I can’t speak to that. Pleased with on time and carefully packaged delivery

While it's true that this light fixture is well made, it feels as though it would last forever, it's also true that it doesn't take a light bulb. It uses a proprietary 'puck'. Although it has a five year 'no hassle' warranty, the side of the box notes that the bulb is warranted for three years. I replaced an old LOA fixture with this one. It was old and worn, but the reason I replaced it was because the photocell had died. In spite of the fact that the fixture has been discontinued, the bulbs are still available. Climb up the ladder, unscrew the old one, screw in the new one. Easy,peasy. So, if I can figure out how to replace the photocell, I will do so. The reason I am making this point is because I had to pay a nice gentleman to install this fixture and whenever the bulb/puck dies, I will have to pay someone to change it out. The other option is for it to join the waste stream which makes me sick to contemplate. So many of the new led lights have proprietary light units and if you don't know if the driver or the leds have died or have no idea where to get the parts for them, they will join the giant US waste stream as well. Most of the light fixtures on the property are more than five years old, so a light fixture with integrated leds which can't be replaced by the user if it dies after five years is incomprehensible to me.Otherwise, the light is placed 12' high, which gives a suitable amount of light for a pole placed in the middle of a field. The 3000K is a little more mellow than the higher K ratings which is what I wanted for this location. I struggled with my decision to purchase this light and probably wouldn't do it again, but it is a quality light and used in a commercial or industrial setting where you have maintenance and electricians available to service these things, I can see where this fixture in multiples would be a very nice design element while embracing the dark sky movement. I didn't deduct a star for this 'temporary' light because I was well aware of what I was doing when I bought it.

The light is gorgeous and I do love it – sensor works great, size is perfect, love the colour of the LED – the basics are covered, BUT, there are some very obvious quality control type issues which definitely present challenges for the average non-electrician homeowner DIY installation. Fixing these little details would take this light from 'as expected' to 'amazing'.For some reason, the mounting hardware is non-standard for Canadian/USA junction boxes - fortunately I had a couple of machine screws lying around to install this light with! I'd expected it'd be reverse mounted (head of screw inside j-box) with a threaded cap outside lamp in a matching colour - but they supplied chrome (why chrome? this is an oil-rubbed bronze light!) screws that are TOO THICK for any standard j-box threaded holes!! They do not supply a universal crossbar for mounting - had to make a trip to the hardware store. Normally when you buy a light, these little details are taken care of.If you're hiring an electrician to install this light than these issues probably won't matter to you - but if you're a DIYer, be aware you'll need some extras to make this work.

Beautiful lights. Arrived in time with no damage. They are pretty bright but definetly suite my needs. I must add though that them cam missing two of the little black nuts that hold them to the frame.I have no regrets and I will be buying four more shortly.

Stunning well designed light, however is Extremely Bright. Would love for it to be dimmable however they are great quality and look fantastic. Definitely not mood lighting but very useful light for seeing whats outside.Would buy again and again.Make dimmable or a screening that dulls the light. I'd buy it!
