Compact design
Fanless industrial computer, the body is a heat sink, with windows installed on the ssd drive. It is very compact but this does not affect the performance of it.It is noiseless and sturdy despite its size. It has many different ports for multiple uses. More suited for industrial uses more than a home use computer. Excellent value for the multiple features.

It has its uses
I got this with the intention of taking my 3d printing into the garage. This unit looks perfect for hooking up to a monitor and keyboard and using for slicing my model designs - amongst other stuff. It's not. But first the build. This is nicely presented in a plain but quality box. It is well protected inside and comes with a power pack, 2x HDMI cables (good quality) 2x wi-fi antennae and a couple of connectors for adding more storage and peripherals. There is a DVD-R which looks to have some info burned on it but I cannot access it as it is damaged - see photo - but it doesn't seem to be required anyway. The build quality is really good with smooth lines in a very compact unit.It has a plethora of sockets and connectors. SIX USB sockets! Really useful. 2x HDMI sockets with together with the COMM ports allow connection of 3 monitors. 2x LAN sockets so you can hardwire your internet and probably use the other to connect a network storage drive. It really does have the most ports and sockets I have seen on a PC this small.Setting up is a breeze.Plug in the monitor, keyboard and mouse, plug in the power and turn on.It fires up quickly and takes you through a very quick setup process.I currently use Windows 10 - this unit runs Windows 11 and it seems to skip a lot of unnecessary stages that were annoying in Windows 10.The unit gets warm, but not hot and the best part of all is that it is totally SILENT!I decided to run a comparison check between my 5 year old desktop PC and this, just to see how well it performs. My desktop is a 2018 processor - i7 9700K with a clock speed of 3.6ghz, 32GB RAM and an nVidea GeForce RTX2070 graphic card. This unit is running a 2019 processor - i5-10210U with a clock speed of 1.6ghz and integrated graphics (no card). Now it's advertised as 4.2ghz processor which is very misleading - that is Turbo Mode and requires a lot of overclocking and messing about with bios etcThis test was done with stock settings.I downloaded Ultimaker Cura slicer and sliced the same two models with both PC's.My desktop did both models in an average of 25 seconds. This one managed an average of 80 seconds. Now that's not bad I suppose, but the real issue with this pc is when you try to re-orientate or manipulate the object on screen. The screen freezes and if the PC could talk I guess it would be screaming "Too heavy! Let me rest!"So for me it is not much use for my needs. It's advertised as suitable for video editing. Now I do a lot of video editing on my desktop and occasionally (with large files) it struggles, so I really don't see this unit coping with anything approaching a full length movie . maybe small tiktok style videos, but I wouldn't want to rely on it.It does handle all the usual laptop type applications such as paint packages, Facebook, Word, Excel etc really well, and is it totally silent while doing so.The problem with this "PC" is that it really isn't a PC.It's a 4 year old laptop processor in a very well put together, silent case with a decent solid state hard-drive.You need to have a monitor, keyboard and mouse to use it, which is an extra cost if you don't have them spare. For an extra £50 you can get a laptop running a processor that is less than 2 years old that benchmarks 4x faster than this one. It also doesn't need you to buy a monitor, keyboard and mouse.I just think it is over priced. It has it's uses but has an old processor which really cannot live up to all that is claimed. It gets 3 stars for build quality, ease of use and set-up but needs to be half price to get anywhere near 5 stars.
