Q: hi, does this knife cut frozen meat ok many thanks

No, definitely not. It doesn't cut the drier top of a cooked roast very well, and when I tried to slice a cold, cooked joint of lamb from the fridge it barely worked at all and just made a lot of dry shreds. It only really works with meat that is still hot, and soft and juicy. Not my best purchase; the pair of blades seem too far apart to me, and not very sharp. The cut surface tends to be messy and hacked up, it's slow and arduous to use, but it's still quicker and neater than my own carving efforts (just), so I kept it. If you wan't to slice frozen meat you want a spinning bacon slicer or something with super-sharp blades and a powerful motor. This unfortunately isn't it.

Q: Is this knife battery powered

Hi, not battery powered, is electric, it's got a cable and you have to plug in the socket. I find it very useful for cutting chicken.

Q: How long are the blades please. I want to cut a piece of foam about 4-5 inches thick.

I am not sure of the actual length as this was a gift but I estimate them to be at least 12" so should be long enough for the purpose. I cannot comment on their ability top cut foam.
