Good quality loaf pans
These pullman loaf pans are made of carbon steel and are very good quality. I baked sweet potato bread in them and it was done faster than in my Pyrex dish. I'm looking forward to trying other breads in these.

Not what I expected
I like the depth of the pan and shape of the loafs of the bread. But I really dislike what happens after it was baked. I used regular/normal bread recipe the dough was simple. I followed instructions and when done baking and cooled off from the oven the bread cooled off the outside was hard. When I cut them in slices and ate them the outside of the bread cut my gums. The loaf was too hard. So I thought maybe it would be better than if I left the lid off when I make loaves. But it did not help I still had hurt gums. Well anyways what I did like was the shape the depth and price. But if it weren’t for the pans causing a hard crust I would have given a better review and kept the pans. After three uses I got rid of them.

Very interesting and working well!
I have been baking my own bread for a long time since I feel there's too much in American breads that doesn't belong there at all. In doing so my breads always come out of the over with this part that is nicely rectangular but with quite a big round crust on top, which is elegant and all, but not very efficient. I had no idea you would put a lid over the pan and bake it in more of a rectangle? Brilliant! Just what I wanted to find.
