This stainless steel box grater is impressively solid and built to last. It stays steady on the counter and feels secure in your hand no wobbling or slipping. Cleaning is also a breeze. Even though it’s dishwasher‑safe, I prefer to hand‑wash it. A quick scrub with warm, soapy water moving in the opposite direction of the grating motion gets it clean in seconds. A nice bonus is the included 3‑cup container that fits perfectly at the base to catch whatever you’re grating. It even comes with a lid so you can store your shredded ingredients for later use without hunting for another container. Glad I purchased this KitchenAid four sided grater. I was tired of buying grater from local stores, and then breaking within a few months. I’ve had this now more than six months, and I love it! Quality product; easy to use and clean. Nice to have the extra little storage container for the extra cheese to be stored in the refrigerator. I highly recommend.

It is good as far as this style of grater goes, but I always feel like I am going to hurt my fingers. Bottom is nice when i can find where I stored it.

Built well, very sharp, and it has the handy measuring cup that attaches to the bottom . And stores under the grater. Light weight and easy to clean.

So far, initial thoughts are that this grater is built very well. Very impressed with the sturdiness and design. Plenty of surface and lots of grating holes. I have already returned the Martha Stewart Sprucedale 9.5" Stainless Steel 4-Sided Food/Cheese Box Grater. I will also be returning the Spring Chef Professional Cheese Grater - Stainless Steel, XL Size, 4 Sides - Perfect Box Grater for Parmesan Cheese, Vegetables, Ginger - Dishwasher Safe - Black. The Spring Chef claims to be XL, but it is way smaller and the build quality does not compare. Th Martha Stewart was also very small with very little grating surface and inadequate grating holes. The KitchenAid Gourmet grater is designed and built much better than the other two graters. You also get the tub and lid which is icing on the cake.

This is a very sturdy cheese grater that comes with a container to grate your cheese in. It is rather large compared to standard size ones but fits in my cupboard ok. Grating cheese directly in the container can be a bit messy as quite a lot land on the outside of the grater so I have learnt to place the grater on top of Kitchen paper. It is also very good for grating carrots, celeriac and slicing potatoes. And the container is really useful to store left over Parmesan in the fridge. All in all I am very happy with it 😊

I absolutely love this grater. Solid, sharp and with a great 2 cup container that fits well and makes grating apples , pears, and anything else with juice easy. everything goes into the container without having to scrape juice off the cutting board. love it.

Very sturdy and sharp. Grip is amazing although with the rubber guards at the bottom you will need to clean under it too. Love the fact it has a container where I can grate in especially convenient with tomatoes. Carrots can easily be picked if done just on chopping board. Tomatoes not so much. Wish I had this sooner. Do note the size is big compared to others. Either way I would definitely recommend.
