Benefiber Fiber Supplement - 74 Servings - 261g - 9.2oz Non Thickening Formula

This product is so overpriced I'm ashamed to say I continue to buy it. But you can't get it from the maker, Novartis. I'm going to try my hardest to find something comparable because I can't afford to continue this madness. I feel like I'm making a car payment every time I need more. Maybe if all the people who love Benefiber and know it should not have been a part of a recall because it wasn't really involved [so I understand] would let Novartis know what a black market they are creating - maybe we'll get our reasonably priced product back. I'm just sayin'...

I've tried other brands (Kirkland Costco brand, etc...) of Wheat Dextrin fiber, but Benefiber is still the one I come back to. It dissolves better, no taste and works for me!The problem with the high prices is Novartis quit producing it in their Lincoln, Nebraska plant for quite awhile and prices skyrocketed in the US. The last couple I got here on Amazon from Pharmacy Direct where actually produced in their New Zealand plant.HOWEVER!!! I called Novartis (1-888-477-2403) today 7/3/13 and the rep said they have just started producing Benefiber in their Lincoln, Nebraska plant again and if it isn't in your local stores yet it will be soon:-)Hopefully that means the price will begin coming down once it gets distributed everywhere.------------------------UPDATE 7/4/13: was at our local Sam's Club today and they had just gotten Benefiber in this last week. $21.88 for big size of 190 servings - 722g - 25.5oz!!!!!

I have been taking Benefiber again now for about a week. Either my body has changed or Benefiber has. It is not providing the benefits I received from previous product I have taken; I would rate it at about the same as Optifiber which I have stopped taking. This is also a product of New Zealand and I noticed that even the seal is inferior. I suspect this is not a genuine product.

Psyllium gives me gas, so this is the fiber supplement for me. It dissolves really well in tea, coffee, hot chocolate, smoothies, even sprinkled over cereal before pouring the milk on top. The only time I've seen it clump and not dissolve totally was when I added it to a mixture of OJ and sparkling mineral water. It's a part of my daily routine, and I highly recommend it.

A very good product but the price has gone through the ceiling for this brand of fiber which is very disappointing.

GREAT FIBER FOR DAILY USE

Have used this product before. Unable to find it at the stores. Especially wonderful for my animals also (used in a smaller amount) Due to the non flavor & mixes well in liquid or food it is easy to administer to anyone. this product should be made available again at drug & grocery stores.

There is not another fiber product like Benefiber! It goes down smooth, not gritty. Benefiber is number 1 at our house. Buy several, as you never know if they will run out.

Good medicine for constipation. It is mild on the GI tract.

I chose this rating cause it was as stated non thickening and tasteless in my coffee and cereal I used it in, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants fiber

Great stuff, can't live without it. I use it three times a day with every meal as directed. It has helped lower my choltesterol also.

This product is easy to use, no grit or after taste. Have used it for over the past year. I love it.

This provides the fiber I need everyday. I add it to my hot coffee every morning. It is easy to measure and it dissolves immediatelyand does not get thick.

Benefiber is wonderful. These suppliers are crazy for these outrageous prices. I just purchased the 190 serving container this afternoon at BJ's Wholesale club for $22.49.
