Good order for a hard hats compatible face shield. It fits okay over some hard hats, not good over others.

* Overall Impression:-This is a good value for a face shield and frame compatible with many hard hats to give some face protection.-Note, you will need your own compatible hard hat, no hard hat is included.-Note, it can not be used on it’s own without a hard hat or with a soft hat like a baseball hat, you’ll need a hard hat to use with it with a round brim style.-I’d suggest adding safety goggles or glasses under it for extra eye protection.-Note this is not a welding visor or hood and doesn’t darken and isn’t rated for welding.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Good value for the style and quality.-Good quality in the materials, well made and nicely finished.-1 face shield visor and 1 frame included.-You will need to use your own compatible round brim hard hat with this shield and frame. It allows you to use a hard hat of your own with it. Note, no hard hat is included.-Sturdy, aluminum frame.-Meets ANSI Z87.1 and international safety standards (shown in the listing pictures)-ISO 9001 certified.-Has the safety info printed on the visor on the side (see the listing pictures).-Impact resistant.-Rated at 268-300 MPH (miles per hour) of impact resistance at room temperature (tested with a 6mm steel sphere) (note if you’re working with higher speed or larger objects and debris, you may need a different rating for higher impact resistance in speed or object size, at lower or higher temperature than room temperature the impact resistance may differ as it was tested at room temperature).-Use temperature range: -23F to 122F (ambient air temperature in the environment).-Clear, not tinted. Easy to clearly see through.-Polycarbonate (PC) shield material made of extrusion grade polycarbonate.-Easy to install on your hard hat (not included).-For round brim style hard hats (it may not work on other brim shapes).-Swivel pins on the frame for security.-Lightweight, doesn’t add a lot of weight to the hat.-Has no unpleasant odor to it.-Visor size (laid flat to measure):Length (top to base) 8 inchesWidth (across) 15.5 inches (flat) 10 inches (curved)-Installation instructions included.* Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-No issues.* Tips & Thoughts:-Note that no hard hat or hat of any sort is included with this face shield. You will need your own compatible round brim style hard hat or safety hat to use with it. It can’t easily be used without a compatible hard hat. It likely won’t work well unless your hard hat is round brim vs other styles.-I don’t think it will work with other styles of hats, such as a baseball style regular hat, you’ll need a compatible round brim hard hat to use with it.-It may not fit every style and shape of hard hat, be sure and check the listing pictures and details to be sure it will work with your hard hat and that your hard hat is a round brim style.-You may want to consider wearing protective eye goggles or glasses under this face shield for added protection, this is what I personally would do during use if debris is being flung that could damage the eyes.-Note that this is not appropriate or safe for welding and similar work, as it doesn’t darken and isn’t rated for welding and isn’t a welding shield.-If you don’t have a hard hat to use with it, there are some similar shields that can be used by themselves or have a hard had already built in.-You may want to save, print or refer to the listing pictures and details for use tips and instructions.-The face shield will only fit the frame that comes with it, not other frames it’s not designed to be used with.-There is some minor assembly required to put the shield on the frame and place it on your own hard hat.-Note that there is a sheet of paper with assembly instructions, and one of the plastic bags also has some assembly instructions.-The plastic on the visor has a protective sticker on it you’ll need to carefully remove before use.
