great investment for casual users
The Seesii Mini Chainsaw 8-inch is an excellent tool for light to medium-duty yard work, especially suited for tree branch trimming and cutting. Its compact size and cordless design make it easy to handle, even for beginners. The chainsaw is battery-powered, with two 2000mAh batteries included, providing decent runtime for most small tasks. The added convenience of the upgraded brushless motor ensures more efficient power delivery and longer tool life. One standout feature is the auto oiler system, which keeps the chain lubricated for smoother and safer operation, reducing wear and maintenance. The 8-inch blade size strikes a balance between portability and cutting power, making it ideal for managing small trees and branches. The chainsaw is lightweight and handheld, making it very easy to maneuver, but it's not designed for heavy-duty cutting. Users might find the battery life limiting for larger jobs, as the 2000mAh batteries may require frequent recharging if used continuously. In terms of safety, it comes with a protective cover and a dual switch to avoid accidental starts, making it a reliable option for home use. However, some users may wish for more advanced safety features typically found in larger chainsaws.

Small but powerfull - works a treat!
This box contains (almost) all you need, including a spare chain, 2 batteries, goggles, maintenance tools and gloves - but sadly not the oil required for lubrication of the chain.I was impressed with all of the extras although I'm not honestly sure how much protection the included gloves provide. One issue I noticed is that the plastic chain guard is not actually secured in any way - it simply slides over the chain, which means if the tool is pointing down then it simply slides off. There is a separate handle that screws on for extra control on larger branches. In use it went through a three-inch branch like a knife through butter! I don't have anything much thicker to test it on but I cannot see this tool struggling unless it came up against something very large and tough indeed. It's handy having the two battery packs and I think these would allow you to keep going for quite a while if there's a lot to do.Overall, this is a very handy tool. It's probably not robust enough for a professional using it every day, but for the enthusiastic home gardener I think this would provide good service.

Amazing value when discounted
The media could not be loaded. Likes:Complete kit ready to go.2 Batteries2 chainsCut 5" wet wood with no applied pressureProbably would do 8" but pushing itGood clear instructions.Light weightAlthough it isn't particularly well styled, it was easy to hold and secure in the hand.Carry caseDislikesOn/off switch has no guard or detenteNot sure how strong the plastics are to being dropped.Safety shield not very convincingManual oilerSilly cotton gloves supplied are inadequateUses.Just great for lopping branches. But I would be very cautious about using this in thicket as there is very little guard and no automatic cut out if it kicks back. You need at the least proper gauntlets and a safety hat.CampingWe often wild camp and collect wood for the fire using a hand saw. This chain saw will save so much time.Overall you are getting a lot of cutting power for very little money, at time of writing the saw is heavily discounted. It's not as well made as a major branded saw, but it completely does the job. Use with care, the on off switch isn't brilliant so take the battery off if you're going to adjust anything.

Lightweight and powerful
Handling yard work has never been easier with this mini chainsaw. It’s lightweight yet powerful enough to handle most small to medium cutting tasks. The battery life is surprisingly good, allowing for extended use without frequent recharging. The automatic oiling system is a convenient feature, making maintenance straightforward and less messy. Safety features like the lock-off button and splash guard add peace of mind during use. It’s an excellent tool for anyone looking to simplify their gardening or DIY tasks.

Works great
Had been looking at these types of cutters for a while but didn't realise how much I would actually use it, as it happens - it's been fantastic and used way more than expected. Even when it's not really necessary and I'm just being lazy. Cuts fairly thick (a few inches) branches with ease, very qucik and very simple. The battery life is great, having two is even better. Quite light in the hand, feels robust and sold, comes with everything you need to get going and a nice hardcase. Only thing that could be improved is the safety guard, doesn't feel as solid as I would expect or want. Otherwise, great performance and vaule. Would recommend

Great performance and value for money; a must-have for the homesteasd
I was thouroughly impressed with this little chainsaw right from the get-go. It performed much better than I originally thought it would. We heat our house with wood and I typically use my 16" gas chainsaw for felling and cutting up full sized trees. But, having a chainsaw like this for the smaller jobs helps save my lower back, as well as on fuel costs. Before buying the SeeSii, I used an Earthwise battery chainsaw. But, it's NiCad batteriers could no longer hold a charge, so I needed a replacement. This saw felt good in my hand and was relatively light, even compared to the Earthwise saw. The plastic body didn't feel cheap or flimsy; it felt nice and solid. It had a nice pull to it while it cut and had maintained pretty good consisent power throughout my cutting job. In my attached photo, you will see the log I was able to cut up with a single battery. When I was done, the battery still had power, but it did start to labour at getting through the last couple of cuts. The log was a branch from an old poplar tree and at it's widest, it was just a little over five inches in diameter. During the cutting, I applied chain oil to the saw twice; once before I started cutting and again about half way through the job. It took a maximum time of about nine to eleven seconds for the saw to cut through the widest part of the log. I only had to adjust the tension on the chain once, as it went through the initial stretching phase most new cutting chains go through. You get a good selection of accessories that come with the saw, along with two 21 Volt Lithium batter packs and an extra chain. I also appreciate the hard plastic case to keep everything together. Much better than just a cardboard box.My only reservation about this saw is that, I did notice a few arcs (sparks) generated by the electric motor. Not a big concern, but it is something to watch out for if you're cutting in the vicinity of dry grass or leaves. And I would suggest to try and limit the amount of sawdust that gathers around the slots around the motor housing. Just be mindful of the possibility of sparks, as with any high powered electric motor like this. For just over $60 on sale, it was a fantastic deal and I was very pleased with my purchase. If it can last for even half the life of my Earthwise saw (10 years), I'll be even happier.

Dead Unchargeable Batteries After )ne Year
*EDIT - Checked the saw once more before trashing out after suspecting defective batteries. For poops and giggles charged both batteries again, took a few minutes before the red charge light turned green for both batteries. Attached a battery to saw and clicked the trigger, again the saw only rotated for a second, the operating light came on and then stopped. Gave the trigger several (frustrated, lol) quick pulls off and on and the saw stayed on, concluding the trigger switch is the culprit. Repeated this 'clicking' several times and the same result, its the trigger that is finicky but works once you catch a solid connection, saw rotates and the utility light shines so, looks like its back in buisness. Great little saw and would be a shame to toss, but its now sorta working until . . . fingers crossed. After receiving the Seesii Mini Chainsaw last year, used it just once for a few hours, alternating both batteries and it worked great. While not in use, both batteries stored indoors, alternated charging the two batteries bi-weekly, as I do all cordless tool batteries. A little after one year and return date went to cut some branches fallen during autumn storms and both batteries did not work. Tried a compateble mini chainsaw 36v battery to see if the saw was suspect and saw worked fine.Good little mini chainsaw, just too bad the batteries are poor quality. Oh well.

Great little saw, cuts big branches...
The only thing is it does not have a chain oil reservoir on this model. I did not see that when I purchased. You have to carry around a little bottle of chain oil to keep it running smoothly. Batteries last ok, good power for what it is and what I use it for. If buying I would recommend the 8" length with the oil reservoir built in. Also make sure it's 24 volt or above.

Works MUCH better than I expected... but not perfect...
This definitely has cutting power. It's sturdy. Fast. Makes short work of small to medium sized chunks of wood. Great case and extras as well. I really like this.My only complaint is the batteries. They look sturdy, but I dropped one and the clip broke quite easily, so now it slides off the saw easily. The other issue is the battery time. It will last a solid 15 minutes of cutting time but then conks out... luckily there are TWO of them in the kit, but still... you are left with about 30 minutes of cutting time overall. Due to the super short battery time, I find it's not been helpful to take with me camping since I have no way to easily recharge it.Awesome for quick jobs around the yard/house. Limited use outside the home where there isn't a place to charge it.
