These pants are great for outdoor activities. They are lightweight and breathable, great for warm weather. They are comfortable and move with your body, they don’t feel restrictive at all. I also really appreciate that the material doesn’t wrinkle too. I can roll these up in a bag and they don’t look ridiculous when I put them on.My favorite feature by far are the pockets! These pants have deep pockets with zippers to hold your phone, keys or any other essentials. I also really like the style that you can zip off the pants and make them into shorts.As far as sizing these run a little smaller compared to other brands on Amazon. I ended up sizing up for a little more comfort and baggy look. My only complaint is even when I sized up they have a pretty short inseam. I am only 5’5” and they were high waters on me, they hit at the top of my ankle. The larger size only added a 1/2 inch length and still feels short on me. For reference I am 115lbs with a 26in waist and 38in hip. I am wearing the size 2 in the pictures. I would recommend sizing up if your in between sizes. And if your taller then 5’5” finding a different pant. Hope that helps!

I freaking love these pants. I bought four pairs a few years ago for an annual mission trip I go on and then bought another pair later on. This mission trip is in the summer and I've done pretty hardcore work in them (i.e. laying on a stripped roof to knock out a gutter). They have yet to tear or get a hole AND they're so lightweight and breathable that working in and wearing long pants in the summer is like nothing! I'm naturally flexible and, especially when painting, I get into some weird positions, but these pants aren't restricting at all. Also, they clean great (the only stains I have are paint stains!)I've also worn them on a few (easy) backpacking trips, and, again, amazing. I love how you can unzip them into shorts; my sister and I did that after a trip and played in a creek. They're flexible and breathable enough that hiking in them (and later sleeping in them) is no problem! Not to mention, the amount (and depth) of pockets is absolutely wonderful.I would SO recommend these pants to any mission-trip-goers, hikers, campers, and pretty much anyone who does any sort of physical labor!In fact, I'm looking to get a few more pairs but in Army Green or Khaki!P.S.I am 5 ' 4, typically buy a small or medium in pants/shorts, and fluctuate between 125-128lbs. I got a size 8 so they'd be a little extra baggy!

I recently purchased this pair of Toomett convertible hiking pants and I'm impressed. The convertible feature is a fantastic addition, allowing me to easily transform them into shorts when the temperature rises or I want to put my feet in the water. The pants are also surprisingly quiet, a huge plus for me personally. They seem like they have good durability, but that will be a test with time.While the waistband is a bit snugger than I prefer, it doesn't compromise comfort. The length is perfect for me, as I'm on the shorter side. They’re flattering to wear and not overly straight or baggie.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend these pants to anyone looking for a versatile and comfortable option for their outdoor adventures.

Comfy and lightweight, but not good for backpacking. Cons: We were doing an overnight backpack trip that meant crossing the creek many times. I bought these pants so I could hike them up when crossing and put them back down for mosquitoes . The clasp on the pant leg didn't work! I could hike one up, but I had to hold the other side up. The slickness of the pants makes it so you can't roll them up very well. The other issue is the zippers. Be very gentle with them! They will break, which is difficult out hiking. Pros: comfortable and fitting is good. 132lbs. 5'2 size 8 allowed me to put thermals underneath to sleep. Just cheaply made.

The material on these pants is nice! It feels like actual fabric, where others feel a bit more like the stereotypical reusable shopping bag material (but, I like those pants, too). I couldn't tell how breathable this nicer fabric is just from trying them on. The zippers glide nicely, and the pant legs are easy to remove [sans shoes].I'm 5'7", and "all leg". As pants, they are nice and long, but not overly so. As shorts, they were actually more like capris, coming to the middle of my knee. Size 12 was a smidge too large for my aprox 32" waist, and I didn't want to use a belt for my particular hikes. The included belt seemed to be nice and sturdy woven nylon (much nicer than "strap" material), and has a lovely little white pattern along one edge.Ultimately I decided to return this pair because I wanted shorter shorts, and I didn't like the yellow cording on all of the zippers. I'm sure you could cut the cording off if that was your only dislike of the product. Still an excellent product, and I would recommend you give them a try.

I bought these for a trip to India and wow-- they quickly became my favorite pants! I wore them full length, capri, and short versions and LOVED how many zipper pockets they had. They are super lightweight to pack, wash out easily in a sink and dry quickly (if you don't have a washing machine handy while traveling), and feel very cool and lightweight with hot temperatures. I'd tried other similar canvas pants with velcro pockets, but my advice is to get the zipper pocket pants. My valuables felt secure zipped onto my body and the pockets and deep and hold a lot. These pants are very comfortable and stylish overall. Highly recommend!
