Alright, my experience goes to about a year! It’s a lot but a full testimony on how this product fixed my tinea versicolor.First things first, this condition varies case by case!!! I looked it up by Google image search when these spots started showing on my torso area. Google images claimed it was tinea versicolor and was correct.I tried this soap last year in 2023 in hopes of making the torso area go away, but it did not. I probably did not shower frequent enough, or other techniques that weren’t applied to make it go away.Time went by, and it spread like wildfire as other reviews state that it does. It spread to my arms as the pictures show. I picked this soap again for a second chance but to shower everyday this time. I scrubbed the “natural” side of the soap directly into the areas most needed. I did this everyday for about 1-2 weeks.Voila. Results and I am satisfied for giving this product a second chance! The torso area cleared also! Results show by fading away in time! There are some disclaimers before using this soap:1. You have to shower this soap only for 1-2 weeks. I did not scrub it into the impacted areas of my skin last year but did this time, which might’ve helped also. Again case by case basis. I’m still regularly using this soap to avoid relapse.2. The sulfur stink. It’s not bothersome on skin, but can be on clothes overtime. Prepare to wash your clothes a lot. I best recommend using this product when you do not have to face the public much also.3. Spots may invert in appearance. The pictures show these pale spots too. But I have not been in the sun lately to tan my skin back to its normal look.Otherwise, great product and satisfied with the results. Thank you.

I've had tinea vericolor all my life. As a hot yoga instructor with lots of sweat involved, I've tried all the prescription stuff. It always leaves my skin feeling tight and chemical-treated. I use this soap exclusively now on a daily basis, and it's the easiest way to keep the spots away from returning. So much easier than multiple dr appointments and runs to the pharmacy. Stick with it, use it regularly, and no problem!

I wanted to try something different for my scalp and rest of my body. So I tried this and noticed over time that my skin spots got lighter and my skin looks really good. Don't get this in your eyes though. You will feel how clean your skin is after a shower, not a film left behind like other soaps. I also used on my scalp dealing with eczema and it worked great. With eczema you have a greater chance of secondary infection from bacteria or fungus, so this works great. I also start with a Zinc based soap. I love this stuff and it smells great.

So far works great. Using every other shower.

I have been struggling with a strange cluster of debilitating symptoms for several years. I have seen more doctors than I can count, including 3 dermatologists for the severe rash that popped up one day. Despite taking skin samples, no cause has been determined and the prescriptions were helpful only in small degrees. I have taken matters into my own hands and one of the first things I did was to use this soap. It has not cleared all of my problems, but the relief from a very uncomfortable itching, stinging, and crawling sensation it provided was almost instantaneous. I have used the bar consistently for 3 years and the look of my skin (color and texture) is greatly improved, as is mycomfort living in my own skin.I agree with other reviewers regarding some drawbacks. This soap has a strong, unpleasant smell. I lather up, allow the soap to stand on my skin for a bit, rinse, and follow with a better smelling bar. I usually shower in the evening but when, I don’t I use a bit of fragrance and ask my adult daughter if I smell okay. She assures me I’m fine. Another issue, which is more of an inconvenience, is that you do need to care for your bar or it will melt away. Finally, the soap is drying. I have to follow up with cream anyway and for me, this step counteracts the dryness.

Was the first soap I tried to treat my tinea versicolor. Used it everyday for 3 weeks and saw some improvement. Unfortunately it did cause eczema flareups and skin flakiness for me after 2 weeks, I began using this alongside an oil cleanser. I've found something else that works but this was definitely a cheap alternative

I’ve suffered from this condition for years from my wetsuit not drying completely after surfing, which allowed the fungus to thrive. Doctor prescribed ketoconazole worked, but took over a month and a half before i started seeing results. After that treatment it started coming back a few months later. I wanted a remedy that i didn’t need to keep going to the doctors to get a prescription for when i ran out. I tried terrasil, but my condition got worse! Brown spots immediately came from previously clear skin, but i kept using for 2 and a half weeks because reviewers of that product said that was normal and should go away in a few days, yet it didn’t it was only getting worse. I bought this soap and stopped using terrasil. Even after one application the spots began scraping off, and now 3 days later over half of them are gone. I first used this in substitution of my normal soap, but now i’ve been applying it after the shower as a paste and leaving it on all day, which seems to work even faster because the active ingredients are staying on the skin all day rather than being washed off. When applying as a paste it didn’t even leave any residue, it was immediately absorbed! The only downside of the soap is the smell, but after 30 mins it is absorbed and the smell is mostly gone! In the end the smell is a small price to pay for a very effective product and I highly recommend.

Very little active (sulfur) ingredient, basically use it once and if works you’re good if not you need to keep buying more soaps. Moving on to another product.
