This hat looks like a hat, not a warped mess. Yes, I tried another brand and had to send it back. This one is firm but soft to the touch. Thick enough that you have to really push on it to put a pin through the material. The fact that it is adjustable is a huge plus as I have a very small head. The decorative band slips off fairly easily so be careful if you don't want to lose it.

It's very easy to make the hat fit a smaller head. Good quality. Nice fabric/felt. It worked out great and now I may actually wear it as a hat!

I ordered it for a costume and this hat really is a nice hat. Looks great and made very well.

I bought this for a dance and loved it! The quality is pretty good, especially for the price, and it's very comfortable and natural to wear. It also fit just as expected, which was very nice! My only complaint is that the belt design around the hat is not secured to the hat. When you tip it back, it falls off, and since it's loosely tied closed in the back, it can come undone. This wasn't too big of a problem for me, though, since I found out about the issue before the dance and just glued it down myself lol

So my daughter has an annual squaredance at her high school. This year, was the first year she decides to really lean into the dance theme and at the last minute asks me for a hat. I had few choices and we went with this, 24 hours later she puts this hat on and I find myself wishing I had somewhere to go to justify buying one for myself. The hat is well made, the proportions are perfect; the brim isn't too large and the front of the hat is not too long. The detailing in the design we chose, the turquiose stones, look authentic without crossing into gaudy. The best indication of the quality and style of this hat is that my teen could not wait to wear this. I wholeheartedly recommend.

There is a crinkle sound in the rim. Otherwise, just fine.

Had fun wearing this beautiful hat!! It is adjustable and very comfortable! You can take the accessory part off if you need to switch the style up and go solid. All in all a perfect hat that every country girl should add to her collection!
