Increased my juice yield.
I was sceptical at first. The bucket is the size of a household bucket and the instructions say use a cable drill and not a cordless drill. However, the bucket and pulper are strong and good quality. The pulper is easy to use, and even with a cordless drill I found it worked very well. Importantly, the pulper did chop my apples into small pieces, and that increased the amount of juice I extracted when I pressed the pulp.

Doesn't really work very well.
The product is just a plastic bucket with a lid with a hole for a steel spindle with an attached blade. The spindle itself is too short to reach the bottom of the bucket. As a result, when it is fitted into a drill chuck, there is a good 3 - 5cm space in which a layer of unchopped fruit accumulates. This effectively means that only about 50 - 75% of the fruit in the bucket gets processed, the rest is left sitting in a layer at the bottom. The top of the spindle has a macined knurled finish which does not really afford a proper "grip" for the drill chuck unless very tight and as such the knurling tends to get worn very quickly resulting in a smooth spindle that the drill chuck just won't grip any more. The bucket is OK but I could get a 2 gallon bucket online for a lot less than the cost of this.

Very expensive for what it is. maybe find a local homebrew shop for a better deal.
Seller takes full advantage of apparent monopoly position on Amazon. The mark-up on this must be MASSIVE.

Simple and effective
Pretty simple, works as intended, attach your drill and the blade does the work.Bought it for my dad to use with his apple trees, we now have about 8 large bottles of apple juice sat in the kitchen, so something must be good with it, perfect if you use it alongside a fruit press.Btw, I hate apple juice lol.

Works fine
Simple and straightforward. Spindle could be a little longer as it doesn't chop up pieces at the bottom of the bucket.

Does the job
I would like indication on the cutter spindle to know how deep to position the spindle to get maximum effective depth. Also previous version of spindle with flat faces at the top was better

not worth the money
This product does work - it does chop the apples up - but its noisy , not that easy to do , and is not very efficient . We found it much , much quicker and easier to use our food processer . A few seconds wizz and its done . Yes , small amounts at a time , but still quicker . And it produces a finer pulp . If you are only using a small press , a food processor is the best bet . We produced 4 litres of juice in one press in very short time with this method . We are left with a thin , expensive plastic bucket .
