Excellent Customer Service
I had trouble using the item with Dyson Airwrap, which is not supported by the device. Even though the return window was closed and Amazon could not do anything, the Bestek company went out of their way to help me and solve my problem to my complete satisfaction. I will definitely buy from Bestek again and highly recommend them to you as well. Excellent customer service. The device worked with other hairdryers, just not with Dyson.

Poor quality
Working fine, but after few months make a big noise from the fun and stop working. Very disappointing

Clean output but, power rating questionable
This is compact size voltage converter for it's power rating. It has s single port ac output and then the USB. USB is quite limited at 35watts. Built is quite good and feels substantial. I ordered it mainly for it's sine wave and AC power output, 2000watts will take care of lot of different small appliances. It's output is very clean so your devices are quite safe with this converter vs the modified square wave ones and high frequency noise etc.. I deliberately fed it with a modified square wave AC but the output was a perfect sine wave, very clean. The fan runs continuously even without load. However with all the good things it failed to deliver the power much less than it's started capacity. I tried few things all under 1500watts, and it had problem with anything more than 1000w. I understand issues with inductive load like motors etc, but it could not support a 1200w electric kettle, which is pretty much as resistive load as you can get. The converter doesn't show overload but it disconnect power very momentarily which resets the device. I tried several different devices and it had problem with anything over 800 even with resistive heating elements kind of load. I haven't figured out what trips it. If it works with the started power rating it will be one of the best in the category but unfortunately it doesn't. It's an ok one at lower output rating.

False advertising means useless device
We bought this converter to bring with our tools for a job site in Europe but it turned out that this converter cannot work even with less than a half of what it claims it can hold. We checked measurements and it can’t hold 650W steady. Starting peak is ~900. Had to buy local converter and can’t return that in time - absolute waste of money. Don’t buy!

Compact and sleek travel adapter with solid performance for moderate use
+ Sleek and compact design + Solid build quality and brand consistency + Includes 3 USB ports for added convenience + Works well in standard 2-prong outlets + Comes in black or white to suit your setup + Great for travel with moderate-energy devices - No grounding prong (though it has a hole for one) - Lacks accessories compared to some universal kits - Price is a bit high for a basic unit without discount _____ I've had several Bestek outlets over the years, and they've all served me well. I really appreciate the brand’s consistency, solid quality, and even the industrial design. This outlet continues that tradition with a modern, sleek, and relatively compact design—especially for a voltage converter. I also like that it comes in both black and white, so it can match different setups. I travel outside the U.S. from time to time, and having a compact converter like this has been genuinely useful whenever I need to bring my 110V devices. This unit includes three USB ports in addition to the main AC plug, which is a great bonus. The plug works flawlessly in standard two-prong outlets (it doesn't have a grounding prong, but it does include the grounding hole for when that's supported). It came in especially handy during a recent airport stop, where my usual charger plugs wouldn’t fit—I was able to charge both my phone and Surface Pro without any trouble (see pic). I also tried it with a nut milk maker, and it handled that just fine as well. I’ve noticed some reviews mentioning issues with reliability when using high-energy devices. Personally, I think it's important not to push a compact adapter like this to its maximum rated capacity, especially for extended use. Factors like inconsistent current, heat, and overall environment can affect performance. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for short bursts of high-power usage if needed, but for long-term or heavy-duty needs, I’d recommend going with a more industrial-grade solution. Even the product description notes that this adapter is best suited for moderate-energy travel items like hair dryers and curling irons. While this is a fairly basic product (it doesn’t include the accessories you might find with some universal plug kits), the price isn’t exactly cheap. That said, it’s a better value if you can grab it with the current discount. Bestek actually offers another more advanced and popular model for the same price (see amazon.com/dp/B07QW4N3QR), but that one isn’t as compact or sleek. Since I value portability and a clean design, this one hits the sweet spot for me—recommended.

Trash product. No quality control.
Absolute trash product. It says it's rated for 2000W. My 1000w Ninja air fryer burned out. Now this is a dead paper weight and I have to figure out how to claim warranty on the air fryer.

Great converter
This thing is awesome, and is actually quite small considering the amount of power it can push through. The USB charging plugs are a nice bonus; although if I am using it to power something up to 2000W, I probably don't need it to also charge my phone.
