NOTE: This is designed as automotive tape. It's designed to fit badges/emblems to cars. It does that job brilliantly. Ota also pressure sensitive -when sticking badges to your car you need to press and hold for 2 or 3 minutes. Once stuck it's then there for the lifetime of the car. Any reviews on here from people who might complain about it's adhesive quality aren't using it for the right job.

The tape itself is excellent, it sticks really well and stays firmly in place. I like that it is thin, so it doesn't add any discernible bulk to what you are sticking. I've used it to keep my whiteboard still as the screws are on a kind of sliding thing and since we've put it on the downstairs loo door, which it just fits, it keeps sliding over and getting in the way. I've used literally an inch of this tape on one side and now it won't budge at all, very impressive. It is easy to use and sticks really well. So why only 4 stars and not 5, well because neither I nor hubby can figure out how to make the blade on the supplied cutting knife stay out! It clearly shows the blade sticking out on the product photograph, so we would expect that to happen in real life but we can't figure it out. I think that there should have been usage instructions for the blade as it's not even immediately apparent how to make the blade pop out at all. It is very sharp and cuts well, but you do have to hold it out whilst using, so might not be good if you have dexterity issues. There's a spring that drags it back in as soon as you let it go. This is safer than it staying out, but it really shouldn't be shown out in the product photograph as we can't see a way to make it do that and find it misleading. I'm also testing some of their Nano tape and the blade in that pack is exactly the same. If there were instruction on how to make the blade stay out, or if it was stated that it's not possible and not shown on the product photograph, then I would have happily given this tape 5 stars as the tape itself is excellent and there is plenty on the roll.

Excellent as described

Bought one of those "Back of the TV" LED lighting systems but the pre-fitted sticky wouldn't stay on. So, having bought stick tape before from this seller, I went for this one - The idea being that I stick this to the TV then the LED strip, with it's existing sticky would stick to this one. Bingo - It's never coming off now!

Packaged very well. Not too easy to remove backing

Advertised as black 3M tape with clear pictures showing it black actual one was grey which is much less tacky. I’ve used the grey many times it’s not good enough. The black is twice as tacky and useful.

However, the quality 3M tape itself is very good, with very strong adhesion. I have used it to secure car number plates and some loose external trim and being waterproof I have no concerns over its longevity. This almost 10M reel should last you for a long time.
