This pen is recommended for artists, whether sketching from life or capturing travel scenes. It comes in the package with two ink cartridges, but the ink isn't waterproof.

Once you buy the pen, you may face some frustration because it takes some time to get the hang of it. The trick is to move only the wrist and not the forearm while drawing with this. I almost gave up thinking it's not meant for me. But I persisted having spent Rs 1800 on it. And now it's my favourite pen to use. But the converter that you have to buy separately with it holds very less ink so probably not suitable for long travel sketching. Persist and you will love this pen.

Heres what I felt.Sailor Fude De Mannen 40°- good for controling line variation by extending and contracting fingersSailor Fude De Mannen 55° vs 40°- not easy to get intermediate line widths, however, you can easily get thin or thick line.- you can hold reverse or vertical for thin lineConclusion both are different. If you want only either thin lines or thick line you can go for this. Pentel pocket brush pen are better if you want variation and smoother thick line.

I've read a few reviews on the internet that were scathing claiming this pen is made of cheap plastic and so I hesitated for a while before buying it. It's a beginner's fude pen so it is silly to compare it to pens that cost 15 times it's price. Whether you want to try your hand at a nib like this before investing in something considerably expensive or if you just want a pen that works well and is not expensive this is a good option. It's just a lot of fun to sketch and doodle with different coloured inks.

This pen is amazing.. most probably best available for Indian market. I bought it after watching international reviews. Always go for 55 deg, that's the best. Highly recommended for ink lovers. 5/5 rating. 👍👍

I had been using fude nib pens of other brand and thought Ill give it a try with this pen. But it had been a big disappointment. The flow is not consistent, The angle to hold the pen to get at least some consistency in line is very uncomfortable. Not a good option for fude nib users.
