EDIT: Updating my review because the company kindly sent me a replacement bottle and the lid was perfect on it so my original bottle was faulty. Definitely recommend if you new looking for a new water bottle.The bottle is great for the price of it and the size (750ml) is really good. However, I have an issue with the lid of mine where it doesn't connect with the runner on the bottle properly & gets stuck when opening & closing it.It's not a deal breaker for me but it is annoying.Unsure whether it's a defective one or if it's a common theme.

Great quality bottle, have been using nearly every day and has held up well

The bottle arrived in a nice looking & sturdy cardboard box with a plastic bag protecting it and after a quick wash it was ready to use. The style of the bottle itself is a fairly generic shape that will work with most cup holders or pockets suitable for standard bottles. The con with the tall and narrow design is that it’s quite tip prone, especially with the lack of a non-slip bottom as it has no real grip on desks etc. Thankfully, like most stainless steel bottles, It's more than sturdy enough to take a knock or drop, but it is a notable negative with this particular type of double walled bottle.The bottle’s colour, dimensions, weight and capacity all match what Mont-clair have shown in the product listing, and it’s made to a good standard throughout. The lid goes on easily and gives a robust air and watertight seal, one thing worth noting about the lid on this particular bottle is that it extends down into the neck of the bottle. So don’t fall into the trap of filling it up too far as it will overflow when the lid is screwed on. Even with the room the lid takes up in the neck of the bottle it has zero issues holding slightly more than 750ml.As for the hot and cold performance, it more or less matches my other more expensive double walled containers, which means it performs well enough for day to day use. I haven’t taken the time or effort to specifically test how well it works, but I haven’t noticed a significant difference between this and my other bottles in daily use.Keep in mind that this thing (or any other insulated vessel) is designed to keep the contents at or near the temperature you put them in at. So if you put room temperature water into it and place the bottle in a fridge or out in the sun, it’ll stay near that room temperature you started with.It's a genuinely well-made product at the current asking price of £11.97, which is around the typical pricing for a double insulated bottle of this size and style from most sources.
