Steelbooks are the best way to collect Harry Potter movies. Art is simple and perfect . You would literally keep staring.The design of the discs of all 8 movies match. The Steelbook covers match the 8 movies. I'm waiting for the deals to come again so I can complete my collection of Steelbooks. If you're planning to buy the 5999 rupee boxset, I say wait for the discount and purchse this instead. It would cost approximately 7999 (during deals or else twice the amount).Now about what's in the disc, the Blu-ray disc has the movie and the DVD disc has the bonus features. DVDs from all 8 Steelbooks form one big bonus continuity. Philosophers stone has creating the world of Harry Potter part 1 and then it follows up till part 8 in Deathly Hallows part 2. There will be only 1 bonus disc remaining after collecting all 8 Steelbooks. That one comes only with the wizarding world Limited Edition collection. But you can probably look for it on the internet. I bought this movie @ an excellent price of 499/- and let me tell u, the experience has been awesome.. I have watched it via.. PS4 on a SONY 50" 3DTV.. So experience may vary according to users hardware. but to me it was awesome.The description and pics are perfect unlike the one of "Prisoner of Azkaban" i purchased earlier(U can see in one my reviews).The Menu description and design in the movie menu is fantastic..Apart from all this movie is a must collection for every Harry Potter fans out there..!!!

Sound - 6/10Picture - 7/10Movie - 8/10It's a sweet film that brings in all those fond memories from my childhood. But the Blu-ray transmission isn't up to the mark.

I had seen a version of The Philosopher’s Stone “ vs The Sorcerer’s Stone and there were more scenes in The Sorcerer’s Stone version. I thought I was purchasing the version with the added scenes But it turned out it was not the complete version I was expecting.

Its been while since Harry Potter films graced the movie theaters, but I just had to write something in praise of these masterpieces, especially the first two movies. These remained probably the most faithful to the excellent books of all the movies, and I thinkall the films were excellent. Dumbledore was most faithfully played by Richard Harris, who unfortunately passed away before theseries got even half way through. His successor was OK but weak compared with Harris. But the wittiness of the characters suchas Herminine and Ron and the brilliant special effects kept the series strong especially later on when they became darker. I willwrite about the other movies later. I only objected to the title which in England was called Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone instead of the Sorcerers Stone.I guess Warner Bros figured people in the US would not know what a Philosophers Stone was. Some minor changes in the storydid not alter the main story sequence from the book, which were brilliantly written by J. K. Rowling. She never talked down to thereader even though the books were supposedly written for children. The text is sophisticated and detailed and very descriptive.And I loved the train; I have a passion for steam locomotives and though the British ones look kind of odd without the cow catcheron the front, I will still take a dozen. Beautiful photography and scenery enhanced the visuals. And flawless special effects.If you haven't seen the films or read the books, I strongly recommend them if you like charming, funny, some sophistication andjust good story telling; these are not fairy tales yet are top notch fantasy movies. I got all of the movies from AMAZON as wellas the books. I give this book five stars. And little Harry, Ron and Herminine are so cute!

Some how misplaced my original movie. This will be a timeless classic. A great family film.
