It's exactly as described and came with a nail to mount it and all. Very simple to set up and use.

Metal tabs that hold back in place immediately broke off when trying to remove the back

Before I took it out of the packaging the little lock parts that hold the back of the frame on were missing all but 1 of them

I bought mine to to create a small memorial for my pup that I lost (had him for 14 years). It looks very nice and was easy to work with. Absolutely love how my memorial turned out.

This shadowbox does work great for flowers, though it seems versatile enough to use with various other items as well. The box is made from sturdy materials, and holds together well.This product is made up of a frame around the outside, and a box portion that goes inside the frame, to aid in holding the flowers in place. Also has a glass-like window on the front, which is protected by a removable film on both sides of the glass.We placed 7 roses comfortably inside the shadowbox, and there is space for more if needed.The appearance of the box is not terribly decorated or flashy, but a simple yet elegant design that lets the flowers be the centerpiece.

This shadow box is really quite attractive. I ordered the white one and the finish is truly beautiful . It’s deep enough to hold thicker items. I’m not a fan of the little metal pins to hold the backing on – kills your fingers trying to get them open, but a butter knife helps. The inside of the box is not padded, so using pins to attach items won’t work, unless you do some modifying. But taping or gluing will work on the smooth cardboard back. This can be hung or used on a table-top with the attached easel stand. I’m pleased with it. I’m using it to display a piece of driftwood and some shells we picked up on our Maine vacation.
