Great concept; did not work for me. I had bought a large person office chair. I was wanting a chair that had room to move; unlike a couple others I had bought. I am obese and it said the chair was for up to 400? ( I weigh 242) I was too short for the chair. It did not fit me in the butt up to neck area. I have scoliosis, so that didn't help. I can't tell you how many times I slid off the chair either because my knee to back area didn't reach the back of the chair or I dozed off at my desk (home) I even had a silicone pad for cooking that helped a lot in keeping me in the chair. At times I would use a step stool. I thought these would help with keeping me in the chair. I just did not think they would be so hard to move the chair with them. Recently, I put the wheels back on. Still use a step stool to get on it and the silicone pad. It will work for now. Oh, I am 5'1", If you remember Laugh In and Edith Ann. That's how I felt. It was squeeking a lot. Nothing a little WD-40.

Easy to install and I did it myself. (I'm a 67 year old woman) They keep my office chair from rolling all over the place. I just wish they could have been taller.

My office chair had rolling wheels before, and I found myself having to brace with my legs and back to keep the chair from rolling away from my desk. It caused a lot of issues with my thigh and back muscles. With these feet, my chair doesn't roll, and I can just sit in it with no drama. I have to drag it forcibly back and forth, but that's better than having all my muscles tense all day trying to stay in place. I was in physical therapy trying to deal with all the issues a rolling chair caused, and now I haven't been to PT since I got these chair feet.

The description says, "These chair glides remain stable across smooth floor surfaces." In fact, they are wobbly, noisy, and unstable. Moreover, the bottom part is not as soft as I expected. They could still damage my floors, so I returned them.
