Tasty
Been looking for dosettes like this for ages. Works very well in my delonghi machine. Made a nice cremeau and was good in a latte. yet to try it black but looks the real deal. Individually wrapped but wrapped in printed paper. Just wish it said fairtrade on the package but I don't speak italian so maybe it does (pretty sure it doesn't). A lot of coffee for the price!

Caffè Borbone Compostable Pods (Blue Blend)
Suprisingly decent coffee for the price. Compared to some other ESE coffee pod brands, this one is one of the cheapest, which had me worried it was going to be bad quality. But I was proved wrong and the pods are generally quite nice. This review is for the blue blend, which is fairly strong and bitter, but I do use sugar free coffee syrups, so the drink is more palatable for me. I like the box size, and each pod comes wrapped in a paper & foil packet.I started using the coffee pods mainly because they are compostable, and are less messy compared to loose ground for example. I think I will try some of the other blends of this brand now!

Convenient
Convenient and easy to use and well priced. Have a flavour profile that is a little bitter bordering on slightly burnt. Good but not my favourite.

Dissapointing
All the reviews gave a good rating but unfortunately my experience was not good.There is no information on the packaging to suggest how to use the coffee bags, I tried two bags in a cup of boiling water but the coffee was to week and had very little flavour, also tried in a coffee percolator but still not drinkable, if I am not using the product correctly I would be grateful for any advice.

Strong, smooth and not to bitter.
First time using ESE coffee pods, have to say just as handy as the nespresso pods.Tastes great, strong, smooth and not to bitter at all.Highly recommend.After a few weeks I got the blue as well, still would prefer the black.It's has a chocolate taste in background.My favourite so far.
