Great Product!
I love this product. Our walkway ( Picture #1) was put in 19 years ago, and we were having some grout erosion, plus I wanted to have some sheen on the brick surface. I used a paint brush and applied 3 thin coats of the brick sealer to our bricks. I love the sheen it has (Picture #2). It was so easy to apply. However, I read the other reviews on it and was careful to let each coat dry thoroughly before applying another coat. I bought the Satin coating. The picture doesn't do it justice. The brick really look clean and fresh. I would buy this product again.

Fantastic
When we start Renovating our 1920s home we had uncovered a Hidden treasure. I always wanted a fireplace just for decoration and this was a perfect opportunity. But After cleaning off all the plaster I want it's something to seal the fireplace without altering the Original look.I came across this stuff, the price seemed reasonable and seemed to be what I was looking for. I am telling you, this stuff is FANTASTIC, No odor, easy to use, Easy clean up and does the JOB! It puts me in the mind of a water down glue or maybe like mod podge. Dries quickly, with a A very mild satin finish. You can wipe it, and The very best part no more mortar falling out!!!! I even Put it in a spray bottle to apply inside the fireplace. It says you can apply 2 coats but one did the trick. I give this stuff 5 stars and will use it to apply to the rest of the chimney. I posted pictures the first one is from before using this product, you can see it doesn't change the look.

Satisfactory
Happy with the product overall. However it def needs to be reapplied every so often. I expected the shine and debris control to last for about 6 months, but it was closer to 3 months when the brick was noticeably fading again and dropping dust below. I will probably purchase this again.

Seals bricks and mortar but does not leave a shine
I applied this sealant and n a 104 year old brick fireplace chimney. Prior to application the mortar was crumbling and the bricks were spreading masonry dust throughout the room. I did a quick scrub of the bricks using a wire veiling and then vacuumed up the dust before applying the sealer. Then I applied the sealant using a light paint brush, making sure to thoroughly soak each brick and mortar joint. Someone suggested using a paint roller but that seemed to leave little bits of foam mixed with the sealant. The brush was faster and easier to apply. After applying the sealer, the crumbling mortar and brick dust are now sealed behind the protective layer. No more brick or concrete dust coating the floors and walls. As several reviews noted, this product did not leave a satin seal on the bricks but more of an “eggshell” coating. Your results may vary depending on the type and age of your bricks.Hopefully the attached photos provide a good idea of what to expect before and after the application. The first two photos show the first layer in progress. The last photo shows the final results after two applications of the sealant.

The perfect sealant for interior brick
We bought this sealer for the first brick wall we exposed in our 1905 home and it worked like magic. Since then, we have used it on two additional walls as well. Anyone that has exposed an old brick wall knows that the amount of dust is insane and even touching the brick releases a cloud of dust. We were desperate for a solution that would limit the need to vaccuum and sweep dust and debris from the wall. From the second we applied this sealer, the dust was trapped in. It’s been on for over a year now and we are still completely dust free.We applied 2 coats with a roller and brush and found application to be super easy. It has a slight shine which gives the brick a finished look without ruining its character. Before stumbling upon this sealer I researched home improvement store products and they were double the price and half the quantity. I can’t speak from experience but I’m sure they would not do a better job. I had to leave a review because this product is really amazing!

Fixed Crumbing Brick / Brick Dust
I have a large exposed brick wall, the home is over 130 yrs old, and the brick is original. I had 8 total bricks that must have been missed with the sealing process when the home was rehabbed. They were constantly shedding dust and at times pretty large flakes, even small rocks if they got bumped. I got this, used a handheld spray bottle that I cleaned out, tested a few i found around the house, looking for the one that produced the finest mist. I prepped by using by handheld dyson with a soft brush, vacuumed very gently the day before, then the day of I used the crevice tool and just placed it on each brick, bit by bit, and held it to get all the loose material. Sprayed the brick after a good mix of the sealant, I sprayed (this stuff is basically water consistency) pretty heavily, waited 2 hrs then did it again. I had intended on then brushing the sealant on, but there was no need. Now that it is fully dried I have touched and brushed the brick with nothing coming off. Its like a glue almost. It did leave a slight sheen, but the bricks are just above the base board and its not noticeable. Over a few months it will probably mellow out. Very happy, and surprised that it worked so well on 2 of the bricks that were really shedding material. FYI I have a handheld pump sprayer but its coverage was going to be way to aggressive for the job at hand, if you need to do a whole wall, I think a pump sprayer would be the ideal tool.
