Really great watch box for the price
It's a decent watch box for the price. The wood look is very nice and glossy. The box has a decent weight to it. The pillow is soft but maybe it should have been covered in felt of velvet instead. The hinge feels solid and opens and closes like a more expensive box. The lining on the bottom is a good touch, gives it a little more elegance, makes it a little more slip-proof and when you set it down it doesn't make a loud ugly or cheap sound. I am not disappointed in this product.

Perfect box for watch or jewelry gift
Elegant, sturdy, well made for gift watch. (I think it can also be used for other jewelry). We used it for a very nice gift watch.

Looks like real wood
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I'm a former cabinet maker. This product is pretty reel wood look and glossy finish. Inside is also very nice. Definitely recommend.

I'll tell you it's much nicer than I expected at this price point. I bought it even after seeing a customer's review about blemishes in the finish. I have a 3/4-in long run right on the top of the box. It's not glaring but when it's in the light it can be. I'm going to end up covering it with a little custom plaque for my brother anyways. There's a photo attached in there. If somebody had the ability, I think he could be buffed down. I'm happy with my purchase and would have gladly gifted five stars if not for the raised blemish. The hinges are strong and straight. The felt bottom is just the right cushion and the box itself is pretty sturdy. There's no warping when you open it or anything. I'm happy. I'll probably buy another one for a gift watch. UPDATE: I *did actually but another one and it came in this morning. Same top notch quality and presentation. Packaged well preventing damages. I can't express enough what a value this is for gifting watches to someone special.
