Since I don't like tight fitting panties, I bought the X-large size. I'm typically a size large (12 -14) in pants and dresses. These panties fit me very comfortably and without being tight but still stay in place. The colors are very true to Amazon's pictures. Actually, I bought them because the colors match with several of my bikini swimsuit tops and serve very nicely to give me a micro bikini look. I like that they are so low in front with total exposure in the back. The material is not much different from swimsuit material, so I doubt that anyone will no the difference. They look good and have been perfect for sunbathing though they aren't appropriate on a family beach. And if you are in the ocean, you might want to be a little cautious if there are any big waves.
