Best Cassette to MP3 recorder
I had been eyeing this as well as some other cassette to MP3 recorders for awhile. Seemed like this was the best overall and I'd have to agree. I still have my cassette tapes from the 80s but the main reason I got it was to translate some of my songs I made up back when I played guitar and could quickly hear them. It definitely is easy to use and works well and plays cassette tapes just fine. The speaker does the job albeit a bit bright sounding. The LCD display is nice as you can see which track is playing or recording. I do wish it had a track marker button so you don't have to stop in between songs, otherwise it would be just one file for a whole side and you are not able to hear a specific song. Also there is no erase/ delete option. Once its there its there for good. But it does what is says and comes out well. Overall a good product and recommend.

Versatile!
Well built, versatile. I like the ability to record to mini sd card. If you want to listen to older casssettes, this is a compact solution.

So far it is ok
I wanted a cassette player that I could use to play my collection of cassette tapes I have from the 70s and 80s. I seen a few on amazon that had promise so I carefully choose this one over several others cause of the reviews people gave. Now theses player can never compare to the Sony RCA and others that was made back in those days they were made with quality in mind and lots of extras like am/ fm radio and equalizers and other cool features. But I figured I would give this one a try. It seems to play ok but sound quality isn’t there like the old days but it’s not terrible either. I haven’t tried all the features just yet but I’ll get around to it sooner or later. But it does play my tapes pretty good and I can listen to those old tapes again. Thanks

Converts Cassettes into digital audio files
Excellent product. It functions much like the old walkmans by playing cassettes, and you can digitally create audio files by converting your cassettes. It also can be used as a voice recorder. Software would be nice to separate out the tracks but overall a great buy!!

Battery/Outlet very convenient
Original unit spindle did not work. However, replacement sent same day and arrived next day. Replacement unit performed flawlessly and sound quality is good and battery/outlet combo is very convenient.

Not what I was hoping for, but user idiocy (I'm the problem, it's me) may be to blame
Preface: I am an extreme novice when it comes to most technological music software, so this review is most likely a bit skewed due to my lack of knowledge.I have several old cassettes that I wanted to transfer to my computer. A few of them were recordings of my childhood, birthday parties, Christmases, etc. I wanted to store them on my computer so that I could listen to them on the road (via USB, flash drive, CD, and so on), since cars these days don't come standard with tape players (ah, the good old days).I inserted my first tape and the sound quality was good, so no issues there. However, the tape needed to be rewound and for the life of me, I couldn't get it to rewind to the beginning of the side without the tape playing automatically. I would stop it immediately, rewind, and then the issue started again. I just wanted to have the tape player fully stopped so I could get the recording to start at the beginning. After a bit of trial and error and a lot of missteps, I finally got it to start at the proper point. The music transferred easily, however the files were not compatible for creating a playlist of any kind. All I wanted was to have each song show up separately so that I could decide which ones to transfer to my new format.People suggested downloading Audacity, just no. I am sure for some people, it's a breeze. But it was so darn technical, I had absolutely no idea how to use it.I finally ended up getting so frustrated with the whole process, that I decided to return the player.Let me be clear, the reason I bought this product is because I was looking to download entire tapes of my family memories and older music cassettes. I was on a mission to find something that could single out each song on the musical cassettes so that I could use the individual songs in playlists. I'm either a total moron or I didn't purchase the correct product.I gave 3 stars because honestly, the whole issue I was having could have been 100% my fault. I would have kept it to use just as a tape player, but seeing as though I couldn't navigate the basic FF and REW functions easily, I just decided to return it and stick to my handy dandy cassette player that I already have at home. (My current one doesn't have any outputs for transferring music, it's simply a play and go)I wish there was a way for people to respond (kindly and without rude judgment) with any suggestions on products that would be beneficial to what I was trying to achieve.

Very well designed and built. Found a 40 year old cassette I wanted to play and record and it worked perfectly. Super happy with the purchase.
