Perfect smallish bag!
This bag is the perfect size for a day out! It isn’t too big or too small, it is just right. It carries the essentials, but it still has room for a light jacket or small items I pick up along the day. I do wish the internal middle pocket was placed on one side or the other to increase the space in the middle of the bag, but I find a way to work around it.Oh, and as for comfort! This bag is extremely comfortable on my back, and the handle comes in handy. The extra strap makes this bag more comfortable to carry, and it keeps it in place while walking around. I have MANY bags, most more expensive than this one, and this bag has become my go-to bag.

Large capacity sling (or Mini-Briefcase)
The Base Camp Voyager Sling by The North Face is a nice, larger (11 liter) sling bag with a good amount of organization. I was impressed that I could fit not only my Kindle, but also my 13-inch Dell XPS laptop. In fact, this bag is more like a mini-briefcase than a sling. I actually wish there was a way to convert it from a sling to a crossbody, but the strap is not removable. I returned this bag after deciding it really wouldn't suit my needs.

Nice bag but it had a support strap that’s annoying…
It’s not really clear from the pictures, but this bag has a support strap that is separate from the main strap that sits over your shoulder. It’s a tiny strap that goes under your shoulder across your chest. This keeps the bag from slipping, but it’s just another loose end that you have to worry about.Otherwise it has a lot of good pockets, and works well for me as a bag to bike with.

Favorite EDC pack
I have had many packs over the years, for many different purposes. As a youngster, we only had backpacks for hiking and hunting. School work was kept in a Trapper-Keeper and athletic gear was in a duffle bag. I college, a Jansport messenger was my daily helper. As a teacher and coach, I moved to backpacks. I need a little more room and versatility. Mystery Ranch became my packs of choice and they served me well. I still have and use them a lot, but times have changed. As a retiree, my needs have significantly changed. I only need the stuff on me to run to town, do some chores, run some errands and help a neighbor. I have thig bag cleverly packed; it should serve me well for years to come.

Great bag for travel
This bag is just what I was looking for to fill the gap in my travel kit -- smaller than a daypack, but bigger and more versatile than a briefcase. It fits easily under airline seats and can be carried as a second bag when wearing a big travel backpack. This bag was able to comfortably carry the following on a recent trip:- 14" MacBook Pro- Kindle- Notebook and pen- 750 ml stainless steel water bottle- AirPods- 2 pairs of glasses in cases- Chapstick- Bottle of mints- Hand sanitizer- Small bag of trail mix- Miscellaneous papersI also took it on a day hike with minimal daily essentials plus a merino base layer, and it did the job very well.

Excellent bag
Excellent bag, interior divider limits capacity to pack large items

Internal divider makes it impossible to pack and cuts versatility.
Well made bag. Great external design and look, but all the internal divisions make it near impossible to pack for me. Maybe this perfect for someone but I returned it. A bag this size needs some versatility and without being able to use the large main compartment it’s just a pain.
