Swiftmaps World Contemporary Premier Wall Map Poster Mural 24h x 36w - Laminated

This is exactly what I was looking for. My fiancée and I are having a travel themed wedding shower and we were looking for a map to do our seating chart. She’s clearly the creative brains in this operation but we could not be happier. We ended up purchasing the frame for it at IKEA for a good price too. The color of the map is great for the “vintage” look and the quality is good too. Make sure you select purchasing the map rolled.

The Map came in great condition. I guess I was hoping it would have came in a cardboard tube but it was a square box and the packaging to keep it from bouncing around in the box was placed so that it did not bend the map. It arrived pretty fast. The United States doesn't provide each state, but it's good enough for what I want to use the map for. I'm going to have it framed and placed on a cork board with no glass cover so that I can put pins in it to show where I want to visit or have visited.

The map was perfect for what I want to use it for...planning out my overseas trips. The countries and cities are clear enough to read and colorful. I'm happy!

I had a smaller paper map printed by Rand McNally that I got free from Doctors Without Borders several years ago. So I decided to upgrade to this larger map thinking it would have more cities, regions and details-WRONG! For instance Siberia is not shown nor or its many towns, the island of Okinawa is only labeled Naha, its capitol city, many mountain ranges and water passages are also not shown..This Swifts Map while much larger has LESS information than you would expect for this size (36 x 52). So I took off one star for that reason. I removed another star due to Amazon's poor packaging of the map. The map came in a large box (rolled, but unprotected) that also contained a 40 pound end table which of course creased the map during transit.As for the map itself it has nice vivid colors and a nice satin coating on a fairly heavy weight paper. A few other reviews also indicated mishandling by Amazon but thought I might get lucky-NOT!While this is not too bad a map for the price, better spend a bit more If you want detail, like a Rand McNally map.

I bought this map for my 6 year old son to hang on the wall in his room so I could show him where different animals come from in the world. It is made with glossy paper just like the paper from a textbook. We hung it next to his bed so we can refer to it while reading his bedtime books. The regions are nice and big for him to recognize. The sides have been curling up and tearing since he brushes up against it a lot, it is only paper. It's not laminated, just a glossy paper.

Perfect! Really wasn't sure I'd like tan oceans, but they and the map's other colors work perfectly with our living room colors. We got this to use as a world reference, so the lack of US state borderlines didn't bother us. The detail for the rest of the world is just right. Especially in Europe, countries and their major cities are distinct and easy to find.

Good map exactly as described. The spots where the folds make corners are damaged and difficult to see. Should have shopped for one that specified that it wasn't folded.

Map itself looks great, but it is actually a lot longer width wise than A1 so if you are wanting to put it in an A1 frame it wont fit.

I think the product is hugely over priced. The image is okay. It’s just a lot of money for what you get.

Was expecting it to be laminated a bit expensive for a paper map!

The map had been folded before sending so there were creases on it. Quite noticeable!
