I truly love this! It's easy to fill and easy to keep maintained. I have a cat who is very picky about his water moving while he drinks, so he used to stick his whole arm in a water bowl and splash water everywhere... We used to find him standing in the toilet bowl drinking sometimes, just so his water would be moving... But with this- he LOVES it. The sensor works out perfectly so the little fountain turns on when he's nearby (turns off while he's away)... He will sit and wait for it to turn on, then drink from the fountain, and no more need for splashing or getting his paws wet! Very easy to set up, and works great for us.

I. Love. This. Thing.While it is expensive for a water fountain, its features absolutely make up for it. Because literally the only wire involved is the one going into the base and the fountain itself can just be lifted up from said base, this thing is an absolute breeze to clean. So long as you keep it cleaned and keep up with swapping out the filters, the water flow should be absolutely fine and the size of the reservoir will pretty easily let it run without intervention for quite some time.The only problem with it is that it has no means of securing itself to the base besides the weight of the water holding it down. If your pet likes to play with or bap at the fountain, there's little stopping them from just kind of knocking it off the base. If you do that that issue, using a tiny bit of double sided tape (especially the reusable kind) can help. Just be sure not to use too much or you won't be able to get it back off again. Keeping some kind of mat underneath it to catch any spills is also effective.

My fur babies love this fountain. Definitely drinking more now then they use to. Easy setup & clean which us major plus.

It's quiet running, very rarely do I hear the water. It's easy to refill too. Word of advice though, read the instructions and prepare the filter the way it says, otherwise it doesn't absorb right and can cause a leak.

I did a lot of research before deciding on this water fountain. I wanted something that was easy to clean, would hold enough water so I wasn't refilling it every day and required minimal maintenance. I also like the fact that it will operate on a battery without being plugged in 24/7. Instead, it remains off until it senses motion and turns on automatically for 30 seconds or so. However, there is no water in the basin until the sensor is triggered. I like that the water is constantly circulating and staying clean.I also wanted something that was made of steel on the top. This is extremely quiet--the only time I hear the water is when the water level is getting low. In addition, a red light alerts you to a low water level and it automatically shuts off when the water level is too low. It requires regular cleaning--I replace the filters every 2-3 weeks but it's not healthy to go any longer--the filter picks up hair and other dirt and a film can develop on the plastic. The jury is still out on how expensive this is going to be to constantly replace the filters.It took my cat a few days to figure this out--I actually took his dish and put it on top of the water fountain so he would associate it with water and it worked!UPDATE 4/5/25: I prefer to keep the fountain plugged in so it runs constantly. Otherwise, the top dries out and picks up dust and hair. Changing the filters every few weeks is a must and somewhat of an inconvenience because it is a whole process. There is a small expense of the filters. If you're not willing to do this part, then I recommend you not purchase a water fountain. Failing to change the water and filter regularly can be dangerous to your pet. I took off 1 star because of the additional maintenance and expense required but this is still one of the best water fountains on the market.

so the fountain i received doesnt work correctly. the sensor on it doesnt work and the setting for it to continously run water also wont work. i also got shocked pretty bad when i plugged the fountain in.. what a huge dissapointment this fountain is. im hoping thr conpany will reach out to me and offer some sort of resoloution to this probelmatic fountain ive got hete on my hands.

The media could not be loaded. This is thee best water fountain for cats, I work at a pet store and have bought so many. They all end up being hard to clean, lots of parts, they get dirty fast, and sooner rather than later...they break. I gave up and bought just a bowl until this went on sale, saw the awesome reviews and snagged it!I love it,I thought the dish at the top wouldn't be deep enough, wrong! It's perfect size, stays clean and the cats love drinking from the quiet spout and from the stainless steel bowl.The inner workings is literally two pieces that are so easy to clean and I love to clean in the motor spot and it hasn't slowed down a bit!Big fan of the base being the part with the plug in and keeping charge if I have to unplug. Makes filling it easier since I just need to take the bowl with no worries of getting the electric bits wet!Super quiet, I even have to check in myself to make sure it's still on or full of water, which it warns you if it's low!If you wanna give your cats a nice fresh water experience and not have to deal with hard to clean, always breaking fountains definitely give this a try!
