This is a serum made from "ugly" carrots. These are rejected by groceries and find new life in cosmetics. Why not? I found this serum to be smooth and quickly absorbed by my skin. I did not feel any dryness, oiliness or irritation. I found it difficult to squeeze enough of the serum into the dropper at one time, so I need to dip it a few times to get enough. Then I wound up with to much, ugh. Don't waste this, it's so good! I'm a fan!

I really love the idea of using ugly carrots for skincare. It feels sustainable and carrots are great for your skin, both when consumed or applied topically. Carrot seed oil is maybe a better source if some vitamins and nutrients, but carrot extract also has a lot of skin benefits. The biggest one for me is that I'm able to get exposure to Vitamin A through the beta carotine in carrot extract. I'm not someone that handles retinol well, but the minimal exposure to vitamin A through carrot extract doesn't irritate my skin. This is a thicker serum, kind of gloopy but spreads well and you only need a couple of drops for full coverage on your face. It absorbs pretty well and doesn't leave my face feeling too sticky. Since the ingredients are minimal I'm using this in the evening prior to other serums for more hydrstion and moisturization overnight. Alone it's not great at that, but is a nice addition tho the rest of my routine for that added boost. I haven't seen any results from using this for over a week, but wasn't expecting much in the way of results regardless, since this serum seems to be mostly for moisture benefits anyway (which I've already noted). I like this serum. I was trying it thinking I would pass it off to a friend, but I might just buy her her own bottle since I am liking this so much I want to keep using it!

The "VPROVE Real Carrot Ampoule 30ml 1.01 fl. oz. | Serum | Essence | Moisturizing | Hydrating | Soothing | Korean Skin Care | Skincare" is clear and fairly thick (air bubbles in the product) yet very fluid and easy to spread so not a lot is needed. I find it to be slightly tacky at first, but it doesn't take long to soak in. I appreciate its fairly scentless and I can't smell it on me or in the bottle. It comes in a thick, heavy bottle with a dropper top. While the product works great, releasing the dropper/lid from the bottle (after unscrewing) takes a bit of adjusting to. I find if I hold the green plastic part of the lid and wiggle it back and forth it will come out much better. It doesn't jerk as much, and I don't lose serum like I was at first. I've had no irritations, redness or itchiness from using the product. I received mine in April 2024 and Date on the bottle of my bottle is 2025 12 30.

I haven’t been using this product long enough to say if it’s helping or not. But it hasn’t upset my very sensitive skin and isn’t crazy fragranced. The bottle size is good, the packaging is appropriate for shipping and the dropper works well. I like to try new skin care products and this seemed like a fun one to test out.

The product may be extracted from Ugly Carrots but there is nothing except beautiful in this bottle. The product is very clean and clear. It is very easily absorbed and gave a beautiful plump to my skin, after leaving it in, overnight. It isn't sticky or tacky at all. It glides on and soaks in, instantly. I applied it twice because my skin just soaked it up, like my skin was thirsty. The next morning I woke up with beautifully softened and toned skin. I've tried carrot oil on my hair before and I have used it for tanning but never as a facial serum. I had good result with those; exceptional results to my face for this product. Korean skincare is mostly top of the line, in my book. I am excited to see the long term results of using this product nightly. Highly recommended.
