I love the idea of these. But 3 of my 4 dogs (I was not even about to try the cat) do not like having their paws touched. So trying to press their paws down becomes a struggle with smeared results. I still like their little prints though. The one dog who isn't a pain in the butt, his came out great. So if your dog doesn't mind you touching their paws, this should work great. If they do, it will work....ok.

I love the idea of this -- make a mess-free print of your dog's paw print without having to first cover their paws in paint or ink or clay. There's a video that shows how easy it is. In the video, the paw print comes out perfectly paw print-shaped. The dog is calm and happy. It's so simple, you can do it perfectly in a minute.Someone has this dog, probably, but it's not me. It might not be you either. More likely than not, the dog in the video is a paid model. In real life, most dogs are not going to sit perfectly still and gently hand you their paw, allow you to press it down neatly and cleanly, and then remove it while they smile graciously.My dog is not a gracious, calmly sitting, paw-handing kind of dog, so she wasn't a fan of this particular craft. She moved her paw. She waved it around and nearly smacked me in the process. She tried to flip the card over. At one point, she tried to eat it. When I got her paw on it, she wiggled it, trying to get it loose. It took us several times, and even in the best one, the paw print looked more like a blob than a clear paw print.On the other hand, typically the vet makes you a print of their paw after they pass. It's clean and perfect because they are no longer there to wave their paw and accidentally smack you in the head, and flip the card over and wreak chaos. So...I guess the blob of ink I ended up with is a truer reflection of the happy, active, crazy dog she is right now, and I'll take that over a perfect paw print. Three stars. If your dog is particularly calm and well behaved, add a star.

Works well. We had trouble getting super clear paw prints but I think that’s an issue with my pups and not with the kit. The ink on each pad had enough to do multiple prints.

I had the best intentions with this kit, I really did. It came with 4 sheets of cardstock and i'd planned to use one for each pet, but that plan got derailed. One pet let me do the pawprint easily by placing the ink sheet ontop of the cardstock sheet and then pressing his paw onto the dry side of the ink sheet. His print was perfect on the first try. The others needed multiple tries and on one try I accidentally faced the ink sheet ink side up and ended up with some pawprints on my tiles instead of the paper. The product itself wasn't hard to use and each ink sheet allowed for multiple prints but my pets just weren't co-operative. I think it could have been easier if everything was a bit larger so I could fit multiple tries on each sheet. In the end, I had to cut out the passable prints from the sheets as each sheet had multiple pawprints (good and bad). I then glued them all onto a separate sheet of paper I had at home to create this combination piece. I actually really like how it came out in the end and the only thing missing is a mat for the inside of the frame so that the dried ink doesn't touch the plexiglass as I don't want it to smudge over time.
