BeurerIL50 Infrared Heat Lamp Heated Red Light Therapy Lamp for Body, Face, Sinuses, & Skin - Effective Muscle Pain & Cold Relief Treatment by Improving Blood Circulation

I bought this almost 2 months ago to aid me in my severe car accident healing quest. I have been in debilitating pain since mid July and it is now Mid Dec. i go to Physical Therapy twice a week and was wanting to do therapy at home because I was desperate for pain relief. I purchased this device end of October and have to say out of everything I do and have bought to help me, this is my favorite. Initially I used it twice a day- way too much because I believe you should not use it more than 20 minutes total each session this the timer—as I moved it from my neck to my shoulder to my upper back, then lower back then right hip- multiple spots and angles as I had multiple fractures in my pelvis on that side. I look a fool using a variety of things to set it on and also to set my body on. I don’t care as it has brought me the most relief. I only use it once a day now - usually in the evenings-and have added the other kind of red light/Infrared body panel to my daily therapy for morning. now I use near and far infrared. This device is still my favorite. I am having incredible results and my Physical Therapist is pleased. I am also beginning to Be able to sleep for short periods of time on my side which has helped me sleep much better. As a bonus, I was pleasantly surprised when my pointer finger returned to it’s normal size a few weeks after using this device on it. The hand specialist told me it was a burst joint fluid sac filling the finger and that there was nothing really we could do as it would just fill up with fluid again if we drained it. It is dried up now!!! I’m not sure if it will heal it all the way as it hasn’t been that long but I’m very pleased to have my finger looking feminine again! Infrared is supposed to aid healing on a cellular level and that is fantastic, because even though I cannot tell what’s going on on the inside, my pain levels are much improved and life feels doable again!!! I have sent one to my Aunt who has rheumatoid arthritis and very bad hands because she loved using mine. I cannot recommend enough and even if mine broke tomorrow, I would not hesitate to try and replace the bulb and if necessary buy a new one!

I suffer from chronic muscle pain in my back neck and arm from working on computers for long hours. I've bought a lot of gadgets over the years to try to help with this. On my list I have rollers, floss bands, massage device, EMS unit, a lot of ice packs and one of those things that hang you upside down. Recently I went on a 16 mile hike and the next day I was crippled. Had to see the doctor and got a bunch of anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxants and a steroid shot to relieve the pain so I could last the day at work. I probably should have just gone home and skipped the shot.I found this device while, once again trying to find something to help heal my body so I didn't have to take all the meds.Pros :*Instantly gets hot when you turn it on.* Has a timer set to 15 mins by default.* Very sturdy* Allows for tilting* heat up muscles before workouts to reduce injuries.* helps circulation in injured area by bringing more blood to the heated area* keeps you warm when it's cold.*relaxes tense musclesCons:*More like caution- extremely hot so be very careful. I burned myself pretty bad when my elbow accidentally brushed against front glass surface after it turned off.I put it on one of those TV dinner tray things and on top of a box so that the height is parallel to my bed. This allows me to lay with my back or neck to it. It has been a huge help for me but the most amazing thing of all, it brought the biggest smile to my teenagers face when she used it on her injured knee.

Thanks very much for the shop for quick replacement items. And I used it every day or every 2 days in this weather, sudden cold, sudden warm and rain or wilndy for my old father. It is great and easy to use. initially I thought it don't have stand, but thanks to design, it is light, I can carry it without difficulty. And the timer is very exact. Easy to use. Heat and warm appropriate.My country has coronavirus, everyone of us don't want to go clinic or hospital even when we have running nose, because we afraid of crowd or someone who could be carrier of the coronavirus. But my father is 84 years old, sometimes when my father, because of change of weather, has a little cough, flu, I right away turn on warmer and ask him to open the chest for me to have 15min infra threapy. If severe, I will ask him after 15 min on chest, do another 15 min on upper back. And then he feel a lot better after. Together do moxibustion. This 2 together can increase old man 's QI, though only I believe, sometimes, talking the old, you don't now what is appropriate to give him intake because they are too weak when they have something wrong. So massage and light therapy can be an option. So long as you have a glass that shield the red light to let him pu t on or ask him to wear something to cover his eyes and also don't apply oil before using infra. Then it is very helpful.

I really love this product. I use it for pain & inflammation issues. But a huge flaw in my opinion is that the timer is on the front, right below the screen that you are not supposed to look at. So you turn it on & are then supposed to be able to adjust the timer….but how can you adjust it if you aren’t supposed to be looking. It would’ve been much better to put the switches & timer on the very top of the unit so you could access them without looking at the screen. Also-I contacted Beuerer, want to know where I could purchase more eye protection like what it came with & they were not helpful at all.
