Bond is saved by Secret Service agent Kimberley Jones (Mary Stavins) who appears in an 'iceberg' Submersible to rescue him.Next location is Paris where May Day makes a spectacular parachute dive from the Eiffle Tower, but the final scenes are played out at the top of the Golden Gate bridge overlooking San Francisco Bay - a perfect View To A Kill.

Mostly a bore...
Roger Moore decided to go after this stinker - and who can blame him? Greed - presumably on the part of the producers - was getting in the way of good sense, as in the pre-credits sequence. To my way of thinking, the rot really set in with 'Diamonds Are Forever', so Connery must take some of the blame, but the series became far worse with Moore. In this he looks far too old - although not too old to tear apart the campy villain upon first meeting (which is what he should have done, thus preventing Christopher Walken - then the audience - from developing a fit of the giggles). Tanya Roberts is easy on the eye but of little use otherwise.First time I was longing for a Bond film to end so that I could get off to bed.

imposing bond movie
Downloaded purposely in my video library,sound quallty fine,007 this time is pitted against max zorin,a mad industrialist who sets out plans to destroy silicon valley wiping out millions of people as well,now james must use his skills to foil zorin insane ideas,vintage character in a vintage manner,fine enaging cast ,stunning chases,stunts,secret locatiions. Special effects are superb,dramatic conclusion thrilling worth watching.notable soundtrack from duran duran and music

00 Great Fun
Sir Roger Moore's final outing as 007, and, he goes out with a bang! Christopher Walken as the baddie gives a glorious camp performance which adds to the overall enjoyment of this movie which features John Steed himself and, the always reliable Grace Jones.The plot? It's the usual Bond fare but who cares. It's an enjoyable way to spend a chilly Autumn evening.

Classic Bond movie
Moore puts in a great final performance as Bond in a thrilling movie with great locations, girls, villains and action.Please Amazon can you include the extras and documentaries with these buys.

Enjoyed the movie and the peek into the past
So I am going on the 007 memory lane. Cheese over load.. and interesting to see how female rolls have changed over the years. I guess sometimes a girl needs an 007 in her life.

Truly one of the best James Bond's in my view
Only Roger Moore could make this film! Truly one of the best James Bond's in my view. Wonderful film which I think is in the top five of all bond films.
