A licorice toffee that is definitely in the gourmet category. Arrived promptly.

Just fine, not great.
These are fine, but not great. They're a little too sweet , the anise flavor is too muted, and I get the "corn syrup and oil" comment another reviewer offered. And the individual toffee pieces are bigger than expected, so getting them consumed takes more planning (don't eat them around polite company).I also ordered two other company's offerings and will update my review when I get them and try them.Update: I got the Everton Toffees. Waaaay more delish. Stronger anise flavor, less "greasy" mouth feel and slightly less sweet.

Not Fresh!
These caramels tasted ok after you got through the crusty outside. They were crispy/crunchy at first and then they softened up and tasted fine. Barely any coconut flavor though, (if any).I’ve had these caramels before, fresh. And they were soft from the first bite and all the way through. That’s what these should have been. Disappointing.UPDATE 10/23/22- I opened my second bag of these and they were worse than the first. Not soft and have a very strange taste, (almost a chemical taste)when you first bite into them.I am going to throw away the rest of these (it was a 4 pack) . I’m so disappointed. 😞

Taste is really good
Lovely cinnamon chew - however, contains Red 3, and I am just realizing in how many products so many manufacturers out there have started adding that back in. My goal is to avoid it, so I will not be ordering these again. It's sad, because they really are tasty, and just one is very satisfying.

Was disappointed with first package i opened.
I have ordered these caramels 4 or 5 time over the past year. I was disappointed , this time because they tastelike the wrong ones have been bagged. they are labeled sea salt but taste like the plain creamy caramels.Still great and creamy.\, just not the sea salt flavor
