Interesting visual results
It is really interesting to watch on a graph how quickly your body responds to certain foods that you eat. It has given me a new way of understanding what I can eat safely without raising my blood sugars too much. It was also interesting to see the huge spike in my blood sugars when I eat foods that are not good for diabetics. The only negative about the item is the price which works out around £50 for every two weeks which I find as a senior citizen way to explain the three to use on long-term daily basis.

Not reliable
I'm not diabetic. I wanted to learn how eating certain foods affects my blood sugar, hoping to improve my diet. The the 1st 2 days I was getting loads of urgent warnings that my sugar was dangerously low. I didn't believe the values and got finger prick tests (same brand) to check. The correlation between the tests is not good, nor consistent and I would not rely on this monitor of I had diabetes. Lasted 11d including the wildly inaccurate 1st 2 d.Tests CGM v blood prick: 9.4 v 8.2; 6.7 v 5.1, 6.7 v 5.1; 5.7 v 5.7; 6.7 v 7.3; 7.9 v 8.8.

Edit: Good support and assistance
I have tried both this sinocare cgm and Libre 2 cgm to compare accuracy according to blood stick sinocare monitor. I have been using now for one week to allow cgm time to "settle down".I have found that the Sinocare cgm gives a raised plus 2 point figure compared to the blood monitor reading every single time. I trust the accuracy of the actual blood stick reading to be more exact. The libre cgm was in line or very close to the blood monitor every time. More accurate. Both were easy to use, bit expensive, accuracy indifferent.Edit.Following above review, the suppliers have been in contact and came to decision to supply a further cgm unit. Couldn't have been more helpful in there approach to my problems set out above. All handled courteously, and politely. A reasonable compromise and acceptable for my requirement.

UPDATE: When it works it works fine BUT…
I had to edit my original very negative (and a bit hysterical) review (see below) as it is not 100% accurate anymore. Firstly, the customer service got back to me and asked about the problem. I explained and sent some photos and screenshots. They were very helpful and finally offered a replacement. I took the offer and received the second CGM very soon. The second try wasn’t successful, unfortunately. I followed the instructions but failed to implant CGM - the big white button was stuck and after 30 minutes of pressing I gave up and had to remove the whole thing off my skin so the adhesive was destroyed. Perhaps I’d done something wrong or it was some sort of malfunction but no luck for me. But…When it worked it worked well. I only experienced 5 hours of wearing it before the adhesive came off. The tracking via the app was fine and updated every 3 minutes or so, it was pretty easy to use and it looked quite decent. Also, I had no problem setting up and syncing CGM and the app. All in all, it looked very promising during those 5 hours. To clarify, I’m not a diabetic and I wanted to learn more about my blood sugar spikes.I also found placing on the belly very uncomfortable but I guess it works for someone else. Also, I'd cover the monitor with a protective sticker to reinforce it.I think if you have more luck than I am and manage to wear it for 15 days it would be quite good and insightful. 3 stars because twice it didn't work for me.Original review:1.0 out of 5 starsTitle: Waste of moneyReviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 May 2024Model: iCan CGMVerified PurchaseI was only able to use it for about 5 hours when the adhesive came off and I started to get multiple alarms on low glucose levels (despite switching off all the notifications). Contacted customer service but received nothing back. Very disappointed and unhappy about the quality of the product. Avoid!

Waste of Money
Followed Instructions "very carefully" to install softward and the tramsmitting disc. However, simply could not Pair with my Galaxy A15. Tried re-installing iCan software and all manor of combinations to try and connect both devices. Phone could "see" the disc tranmitter but kept saying "this device needs a program". Help option on the ICan software was useless. Very poor software programmoverall. Simply threw it all away. What a waste of £52. Don't buy this product. Am looking at Dexcom or Libra instead. Very disappointed.

Very inaccurate
I have tried a couple of different CGM so I'm quite realistic about their limits... But this one is quite bad ... To the point of being useless. After installation very soon was obvious that the measurements were something between 0.8 and 1 mmol higher than real. Not terrible but far from optimal butAfter 5 days the readings started to be quite inconsistent with weird picks and dips and the accuracy errors went up to +2 mmol. At that point I decided that it was totally useless and I just took it off.In the positives I would say that package, instructions and set-up process was good and it's really waterproof so you can shower yourself with it without the need for protective stickers or covers....

Really useful tool not only for diabetics
I was pleasantly surprised that the sensor stayed stuck to my skin even after taking showers and doing exercise, where it was being pushed and stretched. The graph of blood sugar levels shows me really useful information about spikes and dips. It helps me understand which meals are increasing my blood sugar too much, and how to eat more healthy.
