The bag already sags after putting in just a laptop charger. I’m worried it will sag even more if I add other items. It also can’t stand upright at all, which is disappointing for a bag that costs over $100

I have been living with this bag for a few months now and I have really fallen in love with it. It was slightly bigger than my last bag which, I needed, without being overly huge. I can walk around campus all day with it on and loaded and it has never felt uncomfortable. Even road trips prove to be not that big of a deal as I can pack a couple of days worth of clothes quite easily. I really like the two water bottle pockets as they very easily fit my Nalgene or my bigger Yeti and I usually stash a packable umbrella in the other. If I had to nitpick, the only issue I had was that the breathability of the part that touches your back is nice but when it rains, my laptop actually got a little wet from there and from the top, the zipper area, as I had to stand around in the rain a bit. My solution to this was to just put my laptop in the main compartment and that seemed to work but something to note nonetheless.

I own a Northface Recon backpack that I have been unhappy with because it’s too small, falls on its face every time I put it down and the straps are not comfortable. I took a risk and bought this backpack which is rated as being the same capacity (30L). I was super happy to find out that this backpack’s main pocket is way bigger than the Recon and overall fits way more in it. It also can stand freely without falling on its face and the straps are more comfortable. I’m very happy with this Osprey backpack as it’s like the Recon, only better in all the ways that matter to me. I recommend you check this out if you’ve been deciding between this or the Recon.

I chose this backpack because of Osprey's reputation for it's superb back support. It's a great backpack with plenty of space, lightweight and plenty of different pockets to keep your gear seperate. The laptop and iPad protection is thick and I don't have to worry about my laptop being damaged. I've also taken this on flights and it fits easily under the seat in front of you. The bottle holders a fantastic too, they hold a 1L tumblers nice and snug, however I've nearly lost my 750mL bottle at the airport as it slips out the top when laid flat. Would have loved if the front compression straps also included the bottle section to secure it but that's only a minor gripe. Another one to consider, is there is only mesh that seperates you from the foam. I had to hit the bag a couple times, and use a lint roller to get rid of the foam particles, another minor gripe. Overall, if I were to make my choice again, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this backpack.

I wasn't sure if this was big enough for my 7-8 day travel. Surprisingly, it was quite spacious. All the extra pockets were good enough to use for smaller items. I also liked laptop space at the back. It fits my 13-16 inch devices. Overall quite satisfied with my bag, can't wait to travel to more places with it!!
