Great Scent!
The Pachouli & Cedar smells amazing! Really nice old school scent that is sure to get lots of compliments. Most importantly it doesn’t leave an oily residue on your face. Huge fan of Horace products especially their face and hair products

60% of the time, it works every time…
Unfortunately this smells more like a magic tree air freshener than a sophisticated manly scent. It’s going at the back of the cupboard until I can work out who to gift it to.Outside of my own disappointment, my wife immediately told me that I smelled like her deceased father’s car after he’d been smoking his pipe in it. My eldest son said I smelled like toilet cleaner.This might be your perfect scent, but it’s not mine.

Leaves skin and beard soft and nourished
I really like this beard oil from Horace. Having used beard oil for the last 12 years I have had the pleasure of using a variety of oils - some of which are better than others.So firstly let's talk about the scent - for me I like it. It has a subtle smell and you can still smell the base oil underneath the lemon and mint. Once applied I can only smell it for a short amount of time and the scent dissapears. For me this is what I want from a beard oil - I've had beard oils in the past that have such a strong scent I've felt sick and had to wash them off and then on the other hand I've had others that smell like cooking oil. For me this one from Horace has the balance right whilst keeping it natural.Performance wise a little goes a long way and it leaves my beard and skin underneath feeling soft and nourished.I've used a few Horace products now and really like them. I think this oil is good but could be improved by changing the bottle out for either a pipette lid or a pump action nozzle. For the price a dripper lid seems a little underwhelming and it's easy to make a mess.
