Pierre Biscuiterie French Butter Cookies with Lemon & Almond 5.29 Ounce Box (Pack of 3)

The packaging is very convenient in stopping my over eating tendencies. There are 4 packages of 4 cookies in every box. The perfect amount for a sweet treat. You can eat them as is and they are great but my personal favorite is dipping them in hot coffee. I buy the Sea Salt Caramel flavor and the hot liquid melds with the flavor and makes the tiny pieces of crunchy caramel melt. Because it is mailed, they do occasionally come in with a few broken pieces but honestly I think that’s to be expected.

These are good, buttery cookies. They have good flavor (lemon + almond); and are quite sweet. I would have preferred something a bit less sweet, but that is totally a matter of personal preference. While the outside boxes were a bit mashed on the edges, the cookies inside were fine (e.g. not broken). They are wrapped in threes which helps the cookies stay fresh, which is helpful to me.

I have been trying to find a store-bought butter cookie which actually tastes like a butter cookie.Several of the brands which (years ago) once had a rich flavor, seem to have gone the way of all other store-bought baked goods. (Have you tasted a graham cracker or vanilla wafer lately? My goodness these classics are nothing like they used to be!)This is the first butter cookie I have tried which has flavor and actual butteriness. I would absolutely purchase these again and recommend them highly.They have wee sticky lemony tidbits within and are quite filling. Not boring or “cardboard-like.”For a plain butter cookie, St. Michel salted are really excellent as well.

The cookies were good and were delicious with a cup of tea or coffee. What I especially liked was the shipping. I purchased 3 boxes and they were bubble-wrapped for shipping. Perfect, my boxes were not crushed and the cookies arrived intact and whole.

Very ordinary butter cookie, and a bit stale. It’s certainly edible, and good if you have some coffee with it, but overall, I’m disappointed, and I wouldn’t buy it again. Oh well!

The best cookies around.

I was very disappointed with these cookies. They arrived all broken and in pieces. I wanted to be able to put them on a cookie tray to serve but can’t because they came broken within the cellophane packaging. Then I wanted to return them and I can’t return them. So I’m left with crumbs! Poor value, poor appearance, poor return policy.

I found these at a local store and fell in love with the richness of these cookies. I bought them every week. Unfortunately, my local store stopped carrying them. Didn't think of Amazon at first. Searching online one day, up popped the Amazon link. I ordered them and they came the next day. Thank you, Amazon!
