Amazing packaging. Came frozen and packaged well. Tea box was inside styrofoam clad larger box with dry ice packaging (including details on disposing dry ice packs) to keep food frozen. You can put in freezer to keep longer, fridge or defrost to eat when want. Cakes were moist, very tasty and Beautifull. We warmed the Scones before eating and were scrummy with the cream and jam. Tea good quality. Well worth the price and far better than normal afternoon tea boxes for only a few pound more. Well worth trying as a superb gift which is what ours was.

This was a last minute purchase as it was a next day delivery by DPD which happened to be a Sunday. It came frozen and it says it takes around 4 hours to defrost, although I defrosted overnight. It had plain and fruit scones, jam and cream and a fabulous variety of small cakes, tea bags and a small bottle of prosecco. Everything was fresh even after defrosting and tasted fantastic. It definitely looked and tasted luxurious and would make a great gift for a special occasion or even just as a special treat. I would definitely buy again.

I sent this to a friend for her birthday. it arrived early in the morning. Although I wasn’t a witness to the product, both she and her partner said it was beautifully presented and good quality food. From their feedback, I would order again.

Birthday treat for my Dad - loved the cakes, plenty of cream, but was meant to be 4 scones - 2 plain, 2 fruit but came as 3 plain and 1 fruit - but was disappointed with the scone size as they were minute. Apart from that - said it was lovely.

I was initially worried that the tea would arrive on time but it was here by1000 am on the birthday morning. The packing was brilliant, cool bags and wrapped firmly and safely. The food was delicious, well presented and a lovely birthday treat. We live in a small town with no really good tea shops,So this is absolutely ideal. Definitely will order again. Excellent value especially as it came on Prime.

I ordered Patisserie Valerie’s Amazon Afternoon Tea delivery as a special Mother’s Day treat at home for my wife, who is currently bed bound after suffering a devastating accident. I wanted to bring a little joy to her day with something indulgent and thoughtful – instead, it turned into a huge disappointment.The cakes arrived in a shocking state: completely mishapen, stale, and clearly gone off. There was no ice or cooling packaging whatsoever to keep the items fresh. For a company of this reputation, that’s frankly unacceptable.When I contacted customer service, I was told the batch had finished – and that was it. No refund, no replacement, not even an apology. Just a cold, dismissive response that left us feeling even more let down.This was meant to be a special gesture during a very difficult time, and Patisserie Valerie utterly failed to deliver – both in product quality and in basic customer care. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone, especially not for an occasion that matters

We brought this for my son who is at university and we had it delivered to him directly. Really, really well packaged. I was worried about the cakes becoming mush in transit, but they arrived in perfect condition and looked amazing. My son was so pleased and I was told that the cakes and scones were so delicious!This is a such a lovely treat for someone, and the company ensure everything arrives in top condition.I highly recommend.
