ZebraSarasa Dry Gel Ink Pen Black (JJ31-BK), 0.5mm Fine, 5 pens per Pack (Japan Import)

Now when it comes to being left-handed you are often the one who smudges your writing or having silver hand (embarrassing, I know). I often wonder if there is such a pen that doesn’t smudge across the page and now that search is finally over with the Zebra Sarasa Dry.The ink dispenses a solid black pigment which flows very smoothly and evenly without any scratches that certain pens do but one of the biggest downside to this pen however; is it’s not very good with highlighters so it’s not very water resistant. (I am not sure if I am allowed to recommend another pen from the Zebra brand in my reviews because Sarasa Mark On is fantastic for highlighters.)

The black of this ballpen is really black. I have to say it is easy to use for writing, sometimes the ink doesn't flow well but is manageable. The quality is excellent, but it smudges a bit on my journal but maybe it's the paper quality. Ink is, as I said, opaque black. The appearance is not that flattering but it's okay.

The pens are perfect. The ink is a true black, the pen is a smooth writing experience and it lasts for a good while (and I was doing an intensive language course at the time). I'm a leftie, and lefties tend to smudge, but this ink dries so quickly. I really like these pens.

I wasn't able to get refills for my Zebra Sarasa 0.5 multi pen so chose these pens instead. I did receive 5 pens (unlike other shoppers). They write really nicely, but sadly are closer to 0.7mm. Noticeably thicker print than the 0.5 which I've been using for the rest of my journalling. Unfortunately had to return.

I do tons of writing for work, I have a pen in my hand for at least 6 hours a day. These are going to be my best friend in the office!Also notable that I’m left handed and this is the first good quality ink I have stopped smudging; I go home with zero ink on my hand! The ink is smooth and shows up nicely, even on colored paper. The pen is a nice weight, not too heavy so you have to fight against it, but not too lightweight that it feels cheap. I’m more than impressed. Worth the money!

As a pen snob I’m so pleased with these. The ink is the fastest to dry on the market; faster than the Energel. No smearing, no skipping, black is very black (not greyish). The barrel size is perfect for my hand. Love the clip design (which inspires more confidence than that on the Sarasa Clip). Thinking about getting a third pack.
