All of the people complaining that it doesn't mix well don't realize that they are dealing with pure leucine. Pure amino acids don't mix well. If you want something that mixes well and tastes great then go look elsewhere, some place that has a ton of fillers and additives. You can't have it both ways. I'd prefer to have the unadulterated, pure supplement. I don't want people adding things to my supplements. I personally just take a spoonful straight and then wash it down with some water. Don't have to worry about mixing then. Keep up the great work, Nutrabio. Also this is completely plant-based, which is a huge plus. Don't have to worry about eating duck feathers or other garbage like that.

Good for smoothies and for having no junk in w/it

Bought this for my husband. He said it's working well for him. Will buy more when needed. It did take a long time to get it. LOL But it was worth the wait.

Works well for recovery and blood flow. Only draw backs are no flavor and hard to mix. Recommend mixing with a juice or flavored drink, but shaking is the best way to mix.

I believe this product is what it says, pure L-Leucine (great), but it's usage instructions are dishonest. This does not mix with "your favorite beverage", nor would you want it to. It smells and tastes absolutely disgusting, and in fact it cannot be mixed with fluids at all because it's hydrophobic, so you can't even tough out the flavor by chugging it. It just floats on the surface and clumps and sticks to the sides of the cup. I've never seen anything like it. You might try mixing it with food, but the flavor is so strong, you are liable to ruin whatever dish you mix it with. I ruined an entire bowl of rice and curry with one small scoop. The one way I have found to tolerably consume this is by mixing it into a large spoonful of peanut butter in a bowl, and then eating the peanut butter (better yet if you also add some agave), but adding this many calories isn't going to be for everyone, and it's a real ordeal mixing it. Among other things I tried, I added a drop of dish soap to a glass of water, and that allowed the leucine to mix into the water; this would obviously not be safe for consumption, but it does suggest one could probably get the leucine to mix into fluids safely with some sort of food-safe emulsifier, but I did not have one to test. If you buy this product to mix into "your favorite beverage", know that it will taste and smell very bad, and it will likely not mix into that beverage at all (at least not without possibly also adding an emulsifier). Outside of Thorne, Nutrabio is one of my favorite supplement companies to get my sups from. Things like Leucine here, and Glutamine. Great bang for your buck considering how much they give you and the quality of the supplements keeps me coming back. Not written by chatgpt or a bot, I just love this stuff.

The product is ok. However it will not dissolve in coffee easily for some reason.
