5 stars for this price point
Five stars for an affordable dresser of real pine wood, shipped at no cost for Prime members.Pros:-under $1000 for a real-wood significant piece of furniture. Yes, there are a few plywood pieces but w/o putting overly heavy items, I expect the bottoms of the drawers will hold up.-under $500 for a dresser that is full-sized. You can find some bamboo or engineered wood ones, but most are very narrow at 13-15”, low and short.-beautiful stain. I do wonder if dings and scratches in the darkest stains will show the pine under it.-good/complete build instructions. I’m a fan of things you can build yourself so I’ve dealt w/many instructions and this is among the better ones. Just follow them in the order they give. Some matter, others not as much but it seems easier to “match the pieces you’re currently constructing” (my best advice)-packed well with great consideration. But be warned, super heavy box.-great customer service! I had one less screw for one of the handles.Con’s:-It’s soft. It’s pine, with probably a thin coat of stain. But that is its nature. I wouldn’t use it for a youth’s or heavily used room or in an area that has a lot of traffic. Still, expect it to get marred and keep one of those paint pens nearby.-not ideal if just one person to manage from accepting parcel to moving finished piece into place. But it is doable and probably several hours for one person.-not as easy if you don’t have padded space at table height or a lot of area to carefully lay out all the pieces. Still, it’s doable. I stood pieces on their ends all lined up and constructed on my bed until it came to putting on the legs and back when I moved it onto a carpet.

labor of love but couldn’t be happier
i have to say i agree with the other reviews. this piece is beautiful and definitely higher quality than most furniture you can purchase on amazon, but it definitely took a sold 3 hours to construct. that being said i would do it again as its perfect for our space and will match our new bed frame. the drawers slide well and i’ve filled them to the brim (i have too much clothing) which hasn’t impacted functionality. so great!

Most miserable assembly experience. Took years off my life.
This is not my first piece of furniture. I’ve assembled plenty of IKEA pieces and other Amazon brands with dismal instructions, but this was the absolute worst piece of furniture I’ve ever assembled. I would return it if it wouldn’t be a nightmare to take apart and send back.CONs:It is a pain to put together. The dowels are brittle and crumble apart. The screw heads notches too wide and low to grip a phillips screwdriver well. Incredibly brittle wood. The wood is not finished on all outside surfaces. The top piece split when I was putting it on, but at least I was able to glue and clamp the spot and it’s towards the back end.PROs:It does look nice once you finish. Instructions are not the worst, but could be better. Most pieces were labeled but not all. And at least the holes mostly lined up.ADVICE:I managed to do this myself, but I regret it. Assemble this with two people to make your life easier. I do not recommend using a drill on this for fear of the wood splitting. I used a small ratcheting hand tool to go faster. Similarly it would be better to use a rubber mallet to tap the dowels in than a hammer. Also might be good to have wood glue around to glue pieces together to strengthen screws and dowels, help reinforce cracks, and fix any splits as you go.

Its Good, but could have been Better!
Where do I start with this review? The Good:- It is a sturdy enough dresser, once its been installed properly.- Definitely modern looking and comes with a variety of color choices.- Really good instructions for assembling process. The Bad:- It takes a while for it to be assembled. It took a bit more than 6 hours for me to assemble (one person hand assembly).- Others have pointed out earlier as well. There is a gap that exists and they could have made the drawers bigger.- Bottoms of the drawers are MDF boards and that makes them rattling and cheap.- Its a one time and use thing. There is no way it can be unassembled and reassembled later. The Ugly:- Poor quality control. The panel that goes in the middle came broke for me. Lucky me that its the middle one. I was able to glue that and use it. Had it been any other, it would have been a total disaster. I took out a star because of this.- The wooden sliders on which the drawers slide are pretty bad design. They not only make them cheap, but a lot of rattling because of that. For $300, they could have used metal sliders. Took another star because of this and the cheap bottom drawers. Some suggestions:- Read the instructions very carefully and take time to assemble. Don't rush.- Do not install the board at the back before installing the legs. It becomes that much easier if you swap those two steps (unlike the instructions).- I used some beeswax to polish the wooden panels for drawers. It does give them a good patina.- I used some synthetic grease to lubricate the slider & drawers. That made them a bit tacky and less rattling (this could have been avoided completely if they have provided metal sliders).

Not as difficult as everyone says. Looks pretty 7/10
It took me 3-4 hours to complete. It was really fun building and I think it looks really nice. I think equipment should've been better and the order of instructions revised. The hex screwdriver that was provide isn't sufficient, I would recommend a "L-shaped" one to screw the base to the legs. It says not to use a screw driver, but only because it's a soft wood. When making the drawers I used a drill and wished I used it since the beginning, just be slow and gentle not to strip the screws and damage the wood (I got a blister from using the screwdriver so much).Depth of drawer is large but the dowels that hold it in place really limit the opening.I would install a metal track that would make it slide nicer later on.7/10 bit pricey but it looks nice.
