Nice loud whistle and good looking kettle. This is the second of these kettles I've bought and the last one lasted over 5 years. I only replaced it because the handle was starting to feel a bit loose after thousands of uses but it probably could have gone on longer. The only problem I had with the old one was the lovely red finish got tarnished over the years, as several reviewers have reported. So I tried an experiment of turning the gas flames down enough to stop them licking up outside of the kettle and it worked. The photo is of the kettle after 5 weeks of using it several times a day and as you can see it's still shiny red and as good looking as when it was new.

Lovely sturdy kettle and beautiful colour. My only negative thought is that it seems to take a long time to boil but its such a nice looking kettle I can probably get used to that.

Great value for money, looks nice, saves on elactric and does 4 cuupa's at a time. Win win all round i say.

I haven't needed the whistle function. Very easy to clean and so sturdy. Fairly heavy well made kettle. Also great size capacity.

This is a nice looking kettle. It's really made for camping/caravanning use as it has a folding handle for compact storage. I'm not too sure how safe the handle is. It's riveted to the outside of the kettle using flimsy pieces of metal. I've found on folding the handle into the down position, said metal can bend. So far the handle has held up, but I'm always cautious on using it in case it should break.

Esta es una pequeña hervidor bonita. Parece tener una buena relación calidad-precio, pero no creo que resista el abuso, especialmente el silbato.
