It's amazing and EXACTLY as I remember from the 90s!! Mine is currently a teen, it chills next to me most of the day while I'm working. Every few hours, it needs about 5mins of my time. It sleeps about 11hrs. Screen, buttons, sounds work beautifully.Now... the bad reviews are entirely user error. First, this is a 90s replica toy. This is made for those of us that had and loved the original and WANT the original. If you want a fancy updated one, this is NOT for you. Go get the pix one. This isn't some fancy back lit screen, smart pet thing. It's a nostalgic toy, and yes... you have to hold it at an angle for the screen to be -perfectly- clear. But it's easily visible no matter what angle or light it's in. Second, it's not "impossible to keep alive", it's only a baby for 5min, and a child for 65min. Thats it. After that, it needs attention every few hours and it sleeps for around 10-12hrs nightly depending on age. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for goodness sake. The buttons are perfect for the shape and need to be -pressed down-, not tapped like a smart phone. I'm shocked by the amount of people holding this 90s toy to 2022 standards lmao, y'all crazy. Go download the emulator app and stop bombing reviews because you didn't read well enough.

Got this as a stocking stuffer for my child and she is obsessed. Loves every minute of it and is invested in the Tamagotshi. She loves everything "vintage" so this was a wonderful gift.

Not sure what's going on but we are on pet #6 since Christmas day when my son opened it. It won't grow past the 1st transformation no matter how high the discipline, hungry an happy meter are! I had quite a few of these when I was younger an they were not this difficult to grow at all. This thing is just dieing for no reason it's always at the 3 day mark. We just hatched #6 10minutes ago😑 I've reset it thinking maybe we were on some kind of demo mood, that apparently didn't make any kind of difference. These were so cool when I was younger so far my son's not believing me cause it's been a pain in the a$$ to grow an not die! Once the death beep starts it won't let you do anything to see what's going on to try an save it.

My 40 and 35 year olds loved them - this was big when they were younger. Had a blast setting them up.

My 13 year old daughter loved it.

Bought this for the nostalgia and fun of including it in a white elephant Christmas party. Everyone loved it, figured it was a relic and couldn't believe it was brand new. Anyone from the 90s is going to enjoy it.

My sisters loved them. The thing beeps all the time for food and attention. It’s great, it’s like having a actual child that you have to take care of.

Everything news great but one of the buttons was torn and fell off a day after using it. It's super glued back on and works now but that was kinda disappointing. Who knows how that happened so I'm not gonna trash anyone.
