NKD Living Psyllium Husk Powder: A Natural Boost for Digestive Health
NKD Living Psyllium Husk Powder ReviewI’ve recently started using NKD Living Psyllium Husk Powder, and I’m really impressed with how it has enhanced my digestive health. As someone who values natural health supplements, this product has quickly become a staple in my routine.Texture & Taste:The powder itself is very fine and easy to mix into liquids. I usually add it to my morning smoothie, and it blends seamlessly without any noticeable clumps. As for taste, there is virtually none! This makes it super versatile and easy to incorporate into a variety of recipes, from smoothies to oatmeal or even just mixed in with water.Digestive Health Benefits:The primary reason I decided to try psyllium husk powder was for its digestive benefits, and I’ve definitely noticed a positive difference. I’ve struggled with occasional constipation in the past, but after adding this powder to my diet, I’ve found regularity and comfort in my digestive system. It’s gentle, effective, and doesn’t cause any bloating or discomfort like some other fiber supplements I’ve tried.High Fiber Content:The NKD Living Psyllium Husk Powder is a great source of soluble fiber, which is excellent for supporting digestive health and promoting gut health. It’s perfect for anyone looking to add more fiber to their diet, whether you're managing cholesterol levels, weight loss, or simply want better overall digestion.Versatility & Convenience:I love how easy it is to use. Whether you add it to your drinks, bake with it, or mix it into recipes, it doesn’t change the flavor or texture of what you’re making. Plus, the powder is odorless and dissolves well in both hot and cold liquids, making it convenient for any part of the day.Quality & Packaging:The product comes in a sturdy, resealable bag that keeps everything fresh and free from contamination. The quality of the psyllium husk itself is excellent, and I feel confident in the purity of this product, as it’s free from added sugars, preservatives, or fillers.Overall:I highly recommend NKD Living Psyllium Husk Powder for anyone looking to improve their digestive health. It’s a natural, effective, and easy way to increase fiber intake, and I’ve noticed significant improvements in my gut health since incorporating it into my daily routine. Whether you're dealing with digestive discomfort or simply want to maintain a healthy gut, this product is a great choice.

Comparison with Seven Hills
I ordered this before reading the other reviews and so I would like to add some information.Taste - compared to Seven Hills product it tastes different, it is very slightly more bitter but that does not bother me. It is less bitter than black coffee.Consistency - raw it is a very fine powder so handle with care. No different from the seven hills product. I have a heaped teaspoon in my "bullet proof coffee" (50 to 100g butter, 1 heaped teaspoon powder and 2 heaped teaspoons coffee into the nutri-bullet - yum). It does thicken it, but nowhere near as thick as the Seven Hills product. This is not a problem for me.I have not tried it in baking but if I did I would call my purple products "artisan" and charge extra :). If I did bake then I might consider using this as it seems a little less laxative than the Seven Hills product but the Seven Hills product is much "stickier" when wet it may suit some recipes better.Outcome (poo) - I find this product is a little more forgiving than the seven hills product. I found that a heaped teaspoon of seven hills was too much and used a level/slightly rounded teaspoon. I am regular, once a day no worries :)Value for money - I think that it is on a par with the seven hills product I used slightly cheaper but you need a tiny bit more.Overall - 5* because it suits my needs. It is fine in texture, taste and function for me. If it is too bitter then I would suggest Seven Hills (but this was out of stock when I ordered).

Want to give it five stars!
This stuff is magic! It totally does what I purchased it for and I would have loved to give it five stars. I couldn’t because, as many people have said, it doesn’t dissolve. It all floats on the top and looks gross. I had a proper check of all the reviews and one I had missed struck a chord. A little milk frother. It’s brilliant and I truly think it should come with one. I reckon if it did everybody would give it five stars and there would be no negative reviews. Just a thought.

Has made a huge difference to dog's comfort and health
Bought on vet's advice to help make life more comfortable for a dog with a hard-to-shift clostridium infection in his gut.Taking the husk daily been life-changing for him (along with medication, now stopped). Feeding the powder to him directly sprinkled on food made a sticky mess of his (Schnauzer) beard, but the answer was to mix 1/2 teaspoonful of husk in with some natural yogurt and a splash of water alongside his evening meal. We alternate prebiotic powder in the morning and husk in the evening. He loves the taste and returned to normal within a week or so. He has stayed happy and regular over the last month - no more tummy bloating, no looseness or blood in his movements.Recommended!

Effective but bad taste
It's quite effective but tastes horrible, it's like eating dirt and it's very lumpy not easy to mix.

Down in one!
I've waited a good month of use before leaving this review. I have been looking to an alternative to using Fybogel sachets as they seem to either be discontinued or in short supply. I have been taking 5grams of this daily. The taste I do not find pleasant at all. I've tried this with just half a pint of water and I really found it difficult to get down me. I have found that using a little bit of diluting juice (squash haha) then add 5grams of the powder and half a pint of water makes this a more pleasant drink. You need to mix it vigorously and quicky, and then drink it down very quickly before it starts to thicken. Results for my stomach have been great! This is now part of my regular regime, and I'm building up the intake now to 10 grams daily taken alongside a meal.
