TL;DR: Stop searching and get this one. It cools, it lights, and it WORKS.I searched a ridiculous number of hours for ceiling fans for our 420 sq ft kitchen/dining room/living room space. Our primary needs were to move (often hot/smell-intense) kitchen air, reduce the need for A/C during hot summers, and be able to reduce our reliance on our "pot lights" in the same space. We have a "California Coastal" vibe in our space, so I wanted a "modern looking" fan to match, while not having one that exclusively ran off a switch or a smart phone, but one without hideous looking "pulls" or lights.Functionality: This fan is a dream. The fan, even on the lowest setting, has a fantastic air flow, creating an extremely comfortable inside temperature and allowing us to reduce our A/C need back up to 71. The light itself is fantastic, and whether you use the warm, cool, or in-between settings, gives sufficient light for the entire room when you are simply sitting around, cutting off all need for other light, which reduces the electric bill significantly.Looks: We purchased the "light wood"/white color, which matches the decor perfectly, but doesn't overwhelm the room. The curved blades also look fantastic.Installation: The electrician was able to mount the fan on our slope-ceiling right near the top without needing additional parts, which I know many fans require. Remote works perfectly. There is, by the way, a "wiggle" between the blades and the light part, but the electrician said the entire fan is extremely sturdy and sound, and he thinks the fan is one of the top 1-3 he has seen this year overall.

A nice fan that moves a lot of air at lower RPM. When I turn the speed to high, the airflow is louder than the fan. I like the 6 speeds for the fan. I love the adjustable lights. There is one main light that gets very bright. There is also an adjustable ring light that has various colors.The installation was very easy. My biggest problem with the install was the old fans support structure needed an upgrade. After fixing the support, the install took less than 30 minutes. I did not like the plastic fan blades when I took them out of the box. After installing the blades and discovering no need for balancing the fan, I decided that I liked the plastic blades.It is a good fan. I won't put a plastic fan with a harsh light in the living room but it is a great option for a den or bedroom. The easy installation is amazing.

I am thoroughly impressed with this new smart ceiling fan...design, functionality and ease of installation. In one hour, I fully removed my old ceiling fan, and completely installed (start to finish) the new Dreo smart ceiling fan. It is, by far, the EASIEST ceiling fan installation I've ever done...mainly due to Dreo's design in attaching the fan blades. Push. Click. Done. It could not have been easier! And the funcitonality, I'm blown away with! BEAUTIFUL lighting, super quiet, and I completely configured Alexa so I can control the fan with just my voice. It is AMAZING! This is the fourth DREO smart device I've purchased. The quality of every DREO device is top-notch! I will be watching this manufacturer for other product offerings. Great Ceiling fan. I love the bright and versatile main lights, the ambient light is a wonderful touch. Fan is queit and provides lots of air circulation. Installation was easy. I had a 3 way switch wired to my ceiling box and just capped one hot wire off and hooked the fan up. The switches are no longer utilized. Mounted the remote to the wall near a switch and it's easy to use. Plus hooking up to Alexa was a breeze.

My main con is that the fan takes a good few seconds ranging from 2-5s to respond to input whether it be from voice or app or remote.I haven't had any issues with the fan other than the remote shipped without the battery. Their service department immediately mailed me a new remote so it was not an issue. The lights are good (white center light is tunable) even though I haven't found any use for the colored led's surrounding the main light. No complaints about the fan speed or the center light or Dreo's android app.

Originally, we bought a Hunter from Costco. After installing it, the motor had a horrible whine to it and was very loud. After looking on Amazon, we found this fan. It was very easy to install. You can use it with the remote, app, or with Alexa (we use all three). The DC motor is super quiet and it has excellent air flow. 10/10 recommend. We will be replacing our guest room fan with a Dreo soon.

Fan is excellent, perfectly balanced and was easy to install. We had a minor issue with the fan occasionally stalling out on startup but when I contacted customer support, Tracy was very helpful and sent us a replacement fan at no charge. Would gladly buy again for the customer experience alone!
