this is a professional bass if needed, its a beginner bass if needed...lets get to the chase...I WROTE THIS BEFORE IT ARRIVED...beautiful, BUT... the tone knob came to me totally lose, the action is like a 1/3 OF AN INCH...not killin out of the box, but it was tuned and ready to rock...for stock...its on par or above for sure, with the style and play-ability, user friendly as hell...i give it a hard 5 for the loot you spend
