ErgonSFC3 Gel Saddle

I bought an exercise bike and the stock saddle was TERRIBLE. We knew we needed another one, and ended up trying loads. Lockdown meant we couldn't go to a shop and try multiple saddles in the same visit. The Ergon Sfc3 Gel Saddle ended up being our perfect fit. It was surprisingly thinner than the other "padded" saddles we tried, so I'd say don't be put off by how thin the saddle looks. The gel is high quality and has been put in the right place.

For the price this is a great saddle. I've done about 30 miles on it, including some off road sections on my gravel bike without padded shorts, and it's been very good. Maybe for a whole days cycling I'd still wear padded shorts as well but I am very pleased with this and it's a vast improvement on the stock saddle that came with the bike.

Not used too much but so far I think I chose well. 3- 4 hour long mountain bike rides on hard tail and after adjusting position on rails back a bit more it’s a good saddle.

Excellent quality. Larger and more comfortable than my previous on m. Grove is deeper than I thought, which is a good thing. Still relatively firm.

Great saddle for comfort. Can find it a bit slidey and difficult to get the position right. It is a wider than average saddle so on some technicals descents I do feel it on my legs - would be sorted with a bigger dropping post.
