A persistent Death!
I really enjoyed this book. It was not perfect but it was a book that took you somewhere else! I enjoyed the female lead, she was well written to her role. However, Death sounded more like an insecure man then an eternal being. Love the “dog” and the plot! It was interesting and moved at a good pace. Worth the read!

Good story line.
Easy to read story with interesting characters. The concept of the story is good as it's a one that introduced a new creature from the paranormal world that has not been used much

Exciting start to what looks like an awesome series. Loved it.
For a long time I have had two favorite Urban Fantasy Series, Charley Davidson by Darynda Jones and Kali Sweet by Misty Evans. Based on my enjoyment of Grim and Bare It, also by Misty Evans, I think I will be adding a new series to that favorites list. I am completely sold on this first book in her Accidental Reaper Mystery Series, and I expect my love of Grim and Bare it to grow as I spend more time with Chloe, Ghost, Killian, and even Death.Constant action, an edge of fear, and wonderful characters highlight Misty Evans’s fantastic newest series. I love that Chloe insists on trying to live as normal a life as possible in spite of that terrifying oops that left her as the newest Grim and I love that she is kind-hearted and intelligent. A dark, hot, and mysterious master vampire, Killian is both irritating and kind, and not just to Chloe. Ghost is an adorable Chihuahua-like puppy, until he shifts to his huge and scary persona to protect Chloe and escort souls to heaven. Death is going to take a little longer to warm up to even with his seductive personality and sense of humor, but I really expect to come to like him, too. I loved this novel and can’t wait to spend more time with these awesome characters.I requested an ARC directly from author Misty Evans who was kind enough to approve my request. Who wants to wait for a book that is sure to be amazing? I loved it enough buy a personal Kindle copy.

Fun and funny
A paranormal Scooby gang is on the case. It was fun and funny with characters to match. This is short novel with some twists that result in an easy read. The length made some parts seem rushed but overall I enjoyed the book.

did not grab my whole attention - just ok
This is an offbeat Grim Reaper story. Chloe, the poor girl, is overworked with multiple jobs an college courses. A good deed changes her life when, trying to save a fellow student from being attacked, she inadvertently kills a "grim reaper" and now must take its place! While it is the first in a series and they can take awhile to world build, I felt this dragged out portions of the story, made me lose interest, and skim some areas. The characters have potential. Chloe needs to accept and grow into her new role but I haven't seen her dimension yet. The sexy vampire assigned to train her could become interesting. It just did not grab my whole attention and make me care about the characters enough to want to continue with their story.Just ok for me.

better than expected
This was really good! There aren’t really many grim reaper books and I’ve been somewhat disappointed in the few I’ve read. However, this was a fun read! The story arc was well executed and I couldn’t put it down. It flowed from one page to the next. I love that it has a touch of danger, comedy, a little romance, adventure, and mystery. Fun read!

Intersting
This is the first book of the series. I didn’t think that I would like it but I did. I’m pleasantly surprised. I really like the characters and it had a really great storyline. It kept me engaged and it was really hard to put down. Can’t wait for the next one.

good with lots of humour
Not Ilona Andrews quality exactly but a good deal of snark and action. I like the mc even though the male ”love interest” holds as much personality as a chair.
