WORKING load is only 403lbs. The breaking strength is usually 2-3 times working load limits.

Q: Where are these made?

I’m not sure where they are made, but they do not last.

Q: when I use first use them they seem to slip a bit at first, is that normal, as it means they don't stay fully tight?

I haven't had that problem. Mine worked great and stayed tight.
