It's perfect for a foam neck support. I've been diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis, and the doctor said if I injured the area I could end up a quadriplegic! Other than that no problem (REALLY!!!). I bought this to wear in the car cuz it's the most likely place I can imagine getting injured. I keep it in the glove box. It's comfortable, doesn't make me sweat, and has some kind of stiff support underneath the front of the thing that I can't feel, but would make it more stable if there was a problem. It's coutured to fit under my chin, is a comfortable thickness, secures with velcro behind my neck, and looks like a neck brace (duh). It seems to be well made. I'm glad I can wash the thin cover that slides over it cuz it gets make up on it. It stabilizes my neck. Would buy again. Wish I didn't need it, but better safe than sorry.

I have a compressed nerve in my neck that I'm dealing with. I think it helps to wear a collar either to bed or for a few hours a day. The collar I was wearing at first came from the hospital when my husband had surgery. It was very hot and scratchy on my neck, plus it was over 4". I was thankful that this new one is 3.5 inches and the material is very soft and the collar has ventilation and is breathable. It comes with a sleeve that can be removed and washed. It is not stiff, and I think it offers adequate support. I think my neck is about 17" around and average length. The medium is perfect, plus there is probably a little room to place a thin ice pack behind my neck for when I need one. ( I recommend a soft fabric ice compress that can be found on Amazon as well) Good luck to everyone out there dealing with this same issue, hope you get relief soon.

I have a broken neck and ordered this. It is very sturdy and it took a minute to get used to it. The beige ones you get from the hospital have more give but I need the stability which it provides. I never even thought about getting them on Amazon. This dark blue doesn't show any dirt (not exactly right word but ya know what I mean). I have no complaints and happy with the brace. Not Worth The Price For this Neck Brace ,A Waste Of Money!! Very Uncomfortable even though it's made of foam with support strips inside of it and the Adjustable Velco Closure Is Very Strong which makes it very hard for adjusting the Size &Tightness to Support My Neck and Back To Help My Pain & Support While I'm Sleeping but Reaching Behind my Neck or adjusting from the Front Either Way Is Very Differcult Adjusting By Yourself Once I put my arms down after trying to adjust the Tightness, I thought I would Choke myself before I could get the Extra Strong Velco closure undone so I could loosen it lol , I tried Sleeping in the Neck Brace last Night and it was OK- Not Comfortable after I got the fit I wanted, when I woke up this morning Found the Brace in the Floor Beside My Bed ?, Velco closure is very strong but it still came off while I was sleeping ! I can't return since I already used it so I feel I have no choice but keep it, My opinion it's a Waste of Money ! I Wouldn't Recommend This Neck Brace unless you want to deal with trying to get it Adjusted just right to get A Comfortable Fit and it slides up over my chin & mouth while adjusting You need To have Someone to help get it adjusted , Trying to adjusting the Strong Velcro by yourself is very Differcult to do but I'm Stuck with this Neck Brace and I Wasted my Money !! The stitching around the velcro ripped the first time I took it off. But it is comfortable and a good size. I have chronic neck pain from bad posture and after wearing it at my computer for maybe only an hour, I felt my neck relax in a way I haven't felt in years, which was incredible. I will be replacing this one to see if this was just a defective one or if it's a quality issue in general and will update my review. Edit: I don't know if the stitching is better or not on the replacement because I could tell that it was used as soon as I took it out of the bag. It is disgusting to resell an item that was used on someone's body that touches their skin directly around their face without washing it first. I just had covid when I was using the one that I just had to return because it was ripped. So hopefully no one gets that one resold to them. Good luck buyers.

This is the best collar I have had and I have a a few over the years. I find this one comfortable, not too hot, easy to use and definately helps for the pain at night..

Very soft fitting and comfy. Great support and easy to store away. Mostly used on flights. Keeps your head and neck safe. I tried so many travel pillows...to lumpi to store in a bag, this one is a top knotch solution.
