Not this product does not work it killed my geraniums following directions to the T

I am unsure if this is actually a rooting hormone or just a fertilizer that is increasing root production. However, what I do know is that it does actually do something...I ordered this to build up the root structures of cuttings and saplings prior to planting, but hadn't gotten to it yet. I have a pear tree that had a damaged limb due to a child swinging from it...the branch is about 2 inches thick, and I did not want to lose it. The split went about 2 or so inches at an angle, about half the depth of the branch. I removed excess pears to lighten the weight of the branch, cleaned the area gently to remove possible bacteria, etc, placed this product in the wound of the branch. I gave the branch support and took the weight off it by tying a rope to the branch and the other end of that rope to a secure and solid branch above it. I then wrapped the wound that had been treated with this product, with cellophane, and then a gauze. It was all I had at the moment. The boy who swung on the branch was happy to help and then we waited for our the results of our experiment...good or bad. I was thrilled to report to the boy that after a couple months, our branch was healed! I was going to leave the bandage in place until the spring because I have little to no actual knowledge or experience with this, but noticed that the bandage had come off when I was out there the other day, and that the branch is in fact healed. So...for what that is worth, I am thankful I had this product that day

I was hoping to use this for cuttings to help promote roots, but when it came, I saw that it was just a fertilizer that promotes root growth once mixed with soil. While that's helpful in that regard, it really wasn't what I was expecting. It is an easy-to-use powder, just know what you're purchasing first since it seemed like it could be used as a rooting hormone.

I fallow the direction and none of my plants grew any roots. So it did not work. It was easy to use but just wish it worked. I really wanted those plants to live.This is just me I’m happy others had great results.

The "Rooting Powder, Rooting Hormone for Plant Cuttings and Transplanting" works great. I started a seedling with and without the powder and the one with grew much faster and had a better root system. It's a great value as well for the amount you receive, I highly recommend.
